New talent trees

they actually did address this in one of the interviews. they claimed they release alpha changes for only a couple classes at a time to concentrate the testing and the feedback into more effective windows. if Monk comes out the same day as 8 other classes, Monk is going to get substantially less playtesting than if it had been the only thing to come out that day. if your job is to aggregate feedback, its also much easier to aggregate feedback when it’s only a couple classes at a time.

I saw. That interview actually did make me feel better about the current radio silence. And I do still expect them to say something - anything. Which is all I’ve been asking for, and which Ion said they need to be better on. It is frankly unprofessional.

Alpha is also still decidedly NOT a marketing tool, which is what you were asserting. Hence why they AREN’T releasing updates for every class every week. If the only purpose of alpha was to drum up hype, they would, like I said. They don’t because it’s not.

The interview that’s happening right now with Max, Ion acknowledges shortcomings on communication for Druids and Priests.

The one I watched live and was talking about in my post that you just responded to? Yes I am aware.

Cool. I thought you were referring to the one about why updates are staggered for the classes and not the one today. Seems like that kind of wraps up all the whining in this thread:

“Druids will get their turn”

They’ve made the same empty promises in the past and never delivered. I frankly reserve the right to hold out until they do, I don’t intend to fall for their PR damage mitigation tactics anymore.

I have heard this quite frequently since WoD. And you know what, it never comes.

This is why there is so much negativity and anger. We are seeing the same pattern, again. It took until the end of Legion for them to start fixing the, literally, last minute change to ferals. A change that made all of the legendaries have between little and no benefit to the spec. And, keep in mind, people were HAPPY with the spec until then. It was not OP. It played nice, and the legendaries fit in. Why they did that change, no one knows.

With the exception of Paladin, Druid, and Priest, EVERY class got large updates. That shows a lack of “only a few being conectrated at a time”. It shows there are only a few not being concentrated on. Once again, druids have seen this in the past, and to me, it reeks of the long running attempts at mitigating their laziness AS HAS BEEN DONE IN THE PAST.

Until there is consistent communication and signs that positive changes are being made, I will take this commentary from Blizzard as a lie to try and keep ferals from quitting.

The only reason I am subscribed right now is to get ready for Wrath and to play with friends. I hope DF comes out in a way that makes me want to play it, but it does not right now.

Bruh I don’t know why you’re so upset that other people are concerned by the lack of news. They should be and Ion even said as much. Why are you so personally invested in telling people that they’re wrong for being concerned? It’s really making you look petty. Calm down.

If Ion’s promise comes through and Druid gets stellar updates soon, I and everyone else in this thread will be over the moon. We’re all on the same side here. You don’t need to belittle other people or turn this into a pissing match.

And Monk, who only has the barest of changes because their reveal was only a week ago.

And DH, who only got half a talent tree just this week.

And Rogues, who have yet to get their second pass just like us.

It’s almost like we’re one of 6 classes that still needs a second pass.

If you guys want to be upset about it, be upset. But some people are really being hysterical with conspiracy theories about how one dev leaving means they’re going to forget about us and there is nothing to support that and it doesn’t help anyone to act like that.

I really Hope they’ll make Elune Favored affected by Nature dmg again. I’d love to see some of Zereth Raid tier added for Guardian to make it a nice Arcane bear Combo. I also miss Lunar beam I know not lots of people liked it tough.

For Feral i’d like to see Lunar Inspiration also affect Sunfire not just Moonfire. Sinse its possible for all Spec to pick it. Or even to Add Starfire to Omen of Clarity effect if the player has Lunar Inspiration. Like Instant free cast Starfire. Maybe more player would go Feral/Balance road if it was possible to make some nice combo

I’m convinced he doesn’t play druid at all, he’s just being a troll.

probably not wrong, anyone that’s played druid/ feral would not be giving blizz the benefit of the doubt

It’s meme now in the community. No matter how legitimate the complaint, druids are just a bunch of whiners.

It doesn’t bother me what the community thinks honestly, one day it will be their favored class that ends up in the same situation and when it does, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, they say. I hope they are prepared.

You remind me of the 7.1 or 7.1.5 period
Blizzard nerf restricts the use of Omen of Clarity, so that this skill can only be limited to certain skills, and the flexibility is completely reduced
Originally, the energy was not very abundant, and after that time it was even more depleted.

The slowing effect of Infected Wounds seems to be cut in half at the same time.
Make this thing optional
Even if Wicked Claws is launched later to make up for it, it will have a lethal effect
But to be honest, the effect is not far from imagination.

Among them, Omen of Clarity is weakened due to PVP, which leads to the secondary effect of PVE.
After so many years, Blizzard no one notices, especially the guy who has left, which makes me even more certain that he will not design druids at all

Actually, that is why I have not responded to him since his last response. Some of his wording reeked of troll.

Can’t wait for that feral sapling to actually turn into a feral tree.

Just dawned on me: if convoke is on all of the spec trees, why isn’t it on the class tree?

This question needs to be asked of the guy who has already left.
