New talent trees

I’m usually one to wait patiently, knowing that changes will happen when they do. But the sheer and utter silence on Druids since the talents were launched is honestly starting to worry me. There’s a literal novel on class changes for just about every other spec, yet still absolutely nothing but crickets chirping for Druids.

It’s just super disheartening to eagerly read the notes but never have anything there that I can actually relate to.

I’ve come to the conclusion we’ve been forgotten.

Every single class that has had a talent tree released was mentioned in some way in the post about recent alpha build changes, except druid. Furthermore, Monk was even mentioned and they haven’t been officially released.

This hurts. Not even just a … “hey, hang in there”.

On the bright side, at least we’re not getting our legs cut out from under us like ret. Clearly, not all attention is good attention.

But at least the class designers have acknowledged Ret actually exists, nonetheless.

Lol Holy pal is even worse then Ret right now XD.

There is still few odds things n druid trees to me

Like why is Life and dead 2 points on all except Feral.

Is Tree of life an actual form like does it proc te effect of Furor or not cause its an incarnation.

Elune favored still doesnt affect nature dmg like Legion. I get its the ‘‘Arcane’’ spot but still It should do both Nature and Arcane.

I know im probably alone in there but I really liked it syns with Lunar beam ‘‘God I miss you’’

Ysera gift is still into Resto tree at 3 point instead of ‘‘New resto passive’’ thing like all other affinity.

Change lunar Inspiration for Eclipse Inspiration and make it affect Sunfire also for player who wanna pick it.

At this rate, barring some surge of change and communication, it’s looking about time to abandon ship on this class.

There’s usually at least one an expansion, looks like it’s Druid for Dragonflight

Hey does anyone remember when was the last time there was a Druid related blue post?
Now even basic perfunctory acting is lazy
OK I think Blizzard has fixed the “too many players” bug again?

Can be rated as boring and uninnovative for several versions in a row (talent design part)
It’s a miracle

Yes. It’s easy to remember since there has not been one since the start of alpha.

Here’s my latest running breakdown as of this morning:

Ysera’s give is definitely not worthy of a 3 point investment. Having it be a baseline passive for resto would just make sense.

I’d love to see soul of the forest moved to the class tree along with convoke and adaptive swarm.

Why is improved innervate a prerequisite talent to the bottom right capstone talents in the resto tree when you could make a build without innervate at all?

Circle of life and death being a two point investment feels bad as well.

Heyyyyyy Blizzard, I have a great idea! Let’s bring back the old ability Symbiosis! Maybe we could implement that in the Class Tree. That would be so awesome!

Sounds good but sure…

“Blizzard: We have no intention of bringing Symbiosis back as it is a high performing talent and not very well received by the community. But we will leave PI, Lust, etc. which are more balanced”

Ok no… but for sure they would deny or ignore the request to return symbiosis for some X or Z reason (and that’s based on the absence of responses since day 1 of the druid in his feedback)

Must be nice for warriors to get responses to feedback.

At this point, if I get this expansion at all, I will wait until the last content is out before playing. I did the same thing in WoD because of the complete 180 change in feral gameplay. I am a feral main and always will be.

There was one time I heard someone say that the gameplay changes that worked so well in Wrath were a quirk. They were aiming for worse gameplay, but made a mistake. With everything that has happened since, I have come to agree with it. Controversial comment I know but, the absurdly easy game play of MoP. Keep in mind here, you had almost a full minute of uptime on SR. The loss of bleed heavy gameplay in WoD. The sudden change away from the skill and talent setup that everyone liked in the beta for Legion.

It all adds up to, Blizzard either hates the spec or just has no clue what to do. In my opinion, both.

In addition, Blizzard wants to keep the Druid in a multi-purpose nature, creating such a deformed product that requires full-time ability but is not outstanding, and cannot be supported.

This kind of multi-function and auxiliary is not necessary at all.
Check out that Affinity series talent I should call pathetic or useless (current version)

To be honest, only Restoration can make use of the talents of that series.
The other three series have to be used in various occasions, and the practicality is really weak.
I can’t understand how these skills can be made into talents or baselines, but they have to be integrated there.

Watching that in 10.0, in order to click on Typhoon, Astral Influence and the useless Moonkin Form, it makes me feel annoyed

Rather than maintaining the multi-purpose nature of combat, it is more practical to focus on the original ability
Otherwise, Blizzard will also show this annoying setting to complex occupations such as Paladin and Shaman.
will know how stupid

Bloodtalons and Sabertooth
There are also many problems with these two talents. The former does not matter whether it is an old mechanism or a new mechanism, both of which are unpleasant.
The latter is not suitable for things that appear in the bottom talent at all. Blizzard forced changes to the source of all evil that led to the current Feral deformity DPS ratio and gameplay.

The affinity choices work when paired with their respective PvP talents, but that’s also showing how they don’t work as well as they could.

It’s always felt bad to me to, for example, to shift into bear form without having chosen guardian affinity and essentially have no buttons to press.

It’d be nice to just have the baseline abilities for each form like rake, ripe, bite, mangle, maul, swipe etc. The bear form abilities as a resto or feral druid don’t hit nearly hard enough to really even justify pressing them and it’d be nice to see that addressed too.

It’s really useful for PVP
But… the area I play mostly has no PvP events, so that’s out of my consideration. (Unless integrated across regions, there really isn’t anyone in my region who wants to play PVP)

From Feral’s point of view, I really hate being transformed into that “chicken”

It’s been almost 2 weeks since I mentioned my dissatisfaction with Blizzard’s 0 responses or at least some sign that they’re aware of our talent trees (just like other classes, ours is sadly a little over weight as well as DK because we were the first). I still remember the comment that there is still a lot to come in 1 or 2 months… it would be funny to get to 1 month and not have any answers… right?
