New Sylvanas novel available for preorder

nah just I been playing with blizzard for 16+ years, I know how they work arthas got the same treatment , I think you are the one whos threated you are scrambling for any sign that might mean that your precious waifu, wont be deleted from the story

Because her plot points and fans are that exhausting.

She’s been doing the same thing as Arthas and Garrosh but long. Just slightly to the side. With people crowing about it constantly while it gets unresolved in game.

  1. despite being a c plot in your mind she was thrust into the warchief role at the detriment of the horde and Vol’jin
  2. she was the main figurehead of BFA with unexplained motives that also seemed to conflict with previous stated motivations.
  3. now we still have her in SLs being a central figurehead of the narrative and still having her motivations being vaguely explained.

It’s like how people got orc fatigue in WoD when that was just one expansion dealing with an orcish narrative that also has a massive content drought.

Don’t engage with her fans then.

World of Warcraft doesn’t exclusivly belong to you. It belongs to all fans, including Sylvanas fans.

You haters have gatekept the forums for four years, enough is enough.

I’m also going to pin “residual Garrosh fatigue” as a possible extra reason as well. This isn’t the first time WoW went with a bad warchief plot, and he was a slow burn from WotLK to a wildly unpopular promotion in Cata, then MoP where everyone knew going in that he was going to be the final boss, before he was finally offed at the end of the WoD leveling story.

It wasn’t even two years before the game started seeding a redo of this idea with the Broken Shore, and we had just gotten off of a more generic “bad orc” expansion concept so post-Stormheim until the BFA prepatch was the only break anyone has had.

She couldn’t stop him from dying and she didn’t want the role to begin with.

It’s weird that you see things this way. The words you use are accusatory… let’s just put it that way.

Wrongly accusatory.

Whether or not I engage, I see said conversations which contributes to my fatigue regarding her.

I could just avoid social media about WoW. But I like that. But this is just a description of my reality.

People have been talking about Sylvanas all that time, I don’t know what you are talking about.

I don’t even think I said people shouldn’t be allowed to discuss her. Just that I’m personally exhausted with her character.

Would she have if she could? Wasn’t the whole his dying and appointing her a plot of her ally The Jailer?

Vol’jin had a book too, right before he became Warchief. It’s not a death sentence to be featured in a novel.

You’re wasting your time trying to explain thing to them, they aren’t all there.

Soooo…it will be like the Arthas book where we learn she was not a great person even when alive? The only difference being she didn’t chose to become undead/her own damnation.

It was a fantastic book nevertheless.

It’s like you’re compelled to be a hypocrite and contradict yourself. Get help, please.

Boo hoo.

You are going to see a lot of things in your life you don’t like. Your YOU centric point of view shouldn’t matter to Blizzard.

And im so glad it doesn’t.

Yours doesn’t matter either, just so you’re aware :wolf:

You do realize the Alliance allows deaths knight the ability to roam their cities freely? And while prejudice, fear and distrust does exist, I dont think it is any worse then those experienced by void elves or worgens.

You’re the one asking how people feel that fatigue…

Of course. What’s your point? Their existence doesn’t make them better.

But your YOU centric view should?

Also, my view typically considers other people. But sometimes two groups have unreconcilable desires.

Did you miss the retcon where killing Vol’jin and having Muehzala trick Vol’jin into appointing her warchief so she could start a new war to kill as many people as possible (on both Alliance and Horde) to funnel souls to the Maw and power up her new boss was the plan all along? That surprise was apparently just good acting on her part.

Actually, it need not be a retcon. She truly may not know that Mueh’zala and the Jailor had a hand in orchestrating Jin’s death or placing her in the Warchief spot. She does “curse Jin and the Loa” for putting her in that position in BtS, and Mueh’zala is weirdly reluctant to dish out the details of his hand in that mess. Which wouldn’t make sense if she already knew. Frankly, it sounds like she was put in that role because it was believed she would move in directions convenient for another within it.
