New short story

Seriously, Gazlowe’s arguments read like every business novel protagonist I’ve ever read.

Just need him to start talking about Agile or Lean or whatever.

God help us all if he learns about Six Sigma.

Even if he’s a communist, so what? Why does everyone in Warcraft have to believe in the same economic system?

We already have Umbric to be the token communist, talking about the plight of the masses while killing them en masse

My god, this is so unhinged.

  1. He’s not.
  2. It’d be a complete differentiation from goblin culture, not just lore. Its a very materialistic society and no Karl Marx is going to change it. Even Gazlowe is doubling down on the benefitial aspects of the system, not differentiating from it.

Its a big shift but at the end of the day Gazlowe is just saying to do what goblins do already, just keep your machines/workers tuned up and go for repeat customers instead of going for the biggest screwjobs.

As opposed to killing much more people in other lands en masse.

I know.

Well so are Gazlowe’s ideals. And I’m speaking in general.

I’m more talking about goblins becoming gommunist.
People seem to forget that to goblins, wealth is everything. They die and are buried with it in the hopes of showing off their wealth and splendor to their ancestors at the Everlasting Party.

It’s very, very hard to put ‘goblin’ and ‘not materialistic’ in the same sentence.

Yeah and that was an awful idea in Shadowlands. And Gazlowe’s ideas are still a way to move them away from being purely focused on greed, to being competent, but not too evil businessmen, which I’m fine with.

Gazlowe always said that Kezan was three meals away from a revolution.

If Blizzard wants socialist revolution they will do it. And since I will not be silent about it I am mad enough to complain so they hear the message that we like Goblin culture the way it is.

Welcome

Don’t worry, Blizzard can’t write a revolution that we, the players don’t put down, unless the revolutionaries are elves. Either that or they tell us the revolution wasn’t necessary and all they had to do was ask nicely.

Don’t you live in modern Germany which has significantly more social policies than unaffordably expensive California.
