New race/class combinations in Shadowlands

Right now, we are getting a new expansion pack with:

  • No new class
  • No new race(s)

It’s Warlords of Draenor all over again, and we all know what kind of reputation that expansion has in the community…

Some more race/class combinations besides Allied Race Death Knights would certainly help soften this blow. Why stop at DK’s? New druids, paladins, shamans, etc. would be pretty exciting! How about new Demon Hunters, like Draenei, Orcs, and the allied race elves? Wow! That’d be sweeeet!

Along with, you know, all that other stuff I listed in my post at the top of the thread. :stuck_out_tongue: Though now that I think of it, I wish I’d listed Draenei Druids too, lol.

Anyway, literally anything would be an improvement. C’mon, Blizz… maybe in an early patch?

We do. Shadowlands is looking rather uninteresting to altaholics, to say the least.

How so? The altaholics are going to be the ones that unlock all… 16? looks from the covenants.

I think all the covenant armor is hideous, and I like leveling characters. But I’ve leveled all the race/class combinations I care about, so I’d love to see some new ones, especially since it’s high time we got some.

If its tied to the red skin Man’ari rejoining the draenei I could see them having the option for warlocks. It would just be something practiced in secret like most of the races who have access to them.

I’ve wanted some red skin Draenei options for Draenei Warlocks (and now Demon Hunters) for ages now. It would be so cool. Red orc demon hunters too.

Funny fact: ever since the patch that updated all of the glowing Elf & Draenei eyes, the Eredar NPC’s in Legion have regular blue eyes instead of the original fel green. Whoopsie, Blizz.

With all the “give everyone paladins” talk lately, I thought I might find this and give it a nudge.

Because… I really want worgen paladins, blood elf druids, and new combinations in general.

I really don’t even care if they re-use assets, I just want these classes on these races.

I’m at the point now where class/race restrictions seem incredibly silly, and should be available across the board. When you can make Night Elf mages and Lightforged Draenai Death Knights, you’ve officially jumped clear over the shark.

I really wish they would in SL. It’s not like it would be hard for most class/race’s. The coding is already there for transformation toys

The weird thing about these are you would think, if they were forcibly raised, the Light would destroy the body so it couldn’t be corrupted. Mechanics do have them exploding and causing damage upon death. If the Lightforged chose to become a DK it sounds like they should never have been a Lightforged to begin with.

All I have ever wanted was gnome druids, but ill take dwarf druids worst case. There are already gnome pallies in the game so that too.
