elves elves elves
as far as the eye can see
i addressed that and quoting myself here
he said we were engaging in conspiracy theory. this is what people with a victim complex do - they use conspiracy theory to justify their belief in their victimization. that covers point number 1, though it doesnt cover lazy.
for lazy we have to look at the lack of motivation to just be positive about it, since all we’re doing, he says, is being negative nancies, not a direct quote, depressing potential new alliance players with all our old wives tales of being victimized by the developers.
in effect, this was my interpretation of the words he used while describing how alliance could be okay if we werent all engaged in conspiracy theories. and that we’re just not putting enough effort into being positive about the solutions that are available already. this translates to perpetual victim complex and laziness.
i think i tried to rise to the occasion by offering a possible solution - a super popular race with a highly requested new class. i’m not just complaining, i’m looking for a solution. just telling former alliance players we have cookies, doesnt seem to be enough of a reason to transfer back. they need to see a vibrant talent pool to recruit from.
If Blizz does this and sets a precedent for half breed races, I would like to formally request Mok’nathal for the Horde.
Edit: if Mok’nathal were added, and able to be shamans, would race change this guy in a heartbeat.
my thought also. call it the half breed patch or the half and half patch or something. ogres were the number 1 allied race request for horde at the start of the allied races, and high elves were the number 1 allied race request for alliance.
for some reason blizz seems reluctant to honor either of those requests but if horde got mok’nathal, thats at least half ogre and can tie ogre lore into a playable horde race and same for half elves for alliance. alliance could access high elf lore since a half elf in this situation would be half high elf and half human.
p.s. it might help to know the new rexxar model is using the kul’tiran male rig.
Allot of the times people will say things about others just to discredit them or make them or to divert the conversation, or look bad, I would hardly take personal accusations / attacks in these forums to heart or serious, just go back and read people posting histories, gives you idea who does what in these forums and for what reasons, and if things are intentional or mistakes or taken wrong or out of context.
Seems you cannot deal with my postings where we’re having a discussion on the facts in game about Kalecgos but you’re more than happy and feel justified to ridicule another person.
I just can’t take you seriously.
well the alliance as a functional faction of the game, is in really bad shape. just giving a race access to better racials hasnt been enough to entice our wayward guilds back. we need an injection of a really popular race with a highly requested class. that should do the trick.
I understand and also feel there’s a certain bias going on between the DEVs and factions, When you have guilds admitting they go to horde for advantage, or how they DEVs act towards one faction or another through ARS, or game mechanics, then there is already a problem, Fact is the problem has gone long enough to actually make a difference in the community, when you have DEVs who you cant trust what they say then it compounds the problem, Unfortunatly it has gone on long enough its the norm. Doubt it will change and the factions will just fall further apart in activity against one another. I mean they already tried bribing the Alliance to participate in BFA PVP and that didn’t even work.
not enough people maining alliance. they are mostly former alliance and horde completionists, playing alliance for achievements and mounts/pets/toys and then go back to the horde for endgame. the horde is now composed of horde enthusiasts and large chunks of former alliance mains.
I always look at it as people flock where the grass is greener and that at the moment seems to be the Horde. I Play wow to have fun and take my time on things, Im not a power gamer so I’m good staying Alliance. Do need advantages.(imho)
i like to see both sides of the story
also just got my alpaca mount for my vulpera!

grats.
i think you misunderstand my position on all this. i’m honestly not jealous nor covetous of what others have access to. i just want the game to succeed and not end up broken beyond repair.
there is no faction imbalance. rated pvp is dead on both sides and the top 1% of raiding guilds go horde purely for the racials. and youre not even playing retail atm
thanks hyper!
I think thanks to them developing Rexxar we’re a lot more likely to see mok’nathal as an AR with the next wave of them if they do another wave.
Also folk have been requesting Mok’Nathal for awhile.
i do on occassion. been slowly working on allied race faction. play classic mostly. i would play retail if alliance got a cool new core race with bard class though.
I wish the Bard Class was a thing through…
I would name mine Fansy
I don’t see why the Mok’nathal wouldn’t be Shamans. I mean they are half orc and half ogre. Its in their blood.
What about Quarter elves?
