i realize this. he’s a dragon aspect. notice how dragon aspects have a race they copy. if he was copying a half high elf, he’d look like how the half high elves looked at that point in the game - which is arator. haha.
Hyper…he’s a dragon, he can look like whatever he wants.
Because he’s important and Arator is not?
It’s not hard to imagine that whoever designed Kalegos just did what he wanted and didn’t feel the need to follow any ‘rules’ that you might think he should have.
nevermind. lol
I wish they had an emoji of that!
starla. you’re way too negative of me. it’s getting on my nerves.
oh it is kael’thas saying it, and he says blind half night elf mongrel. he’s talking about illidan. doh. its the speech he gives at the end of magister’s terrace
No. No more elves.
what about the horde getting san’layn?
As far as we know, the only reason San’layn exist is because of Arthas. So until they do another Void Elf where they took refuge in the Shadowlands or something; probably a hard no on San’layn. Besides the Venthyr from the Shadowlands are like 100% waaay cooler.
they are cool looking. i hope this doesnt mean we’re getting shadowlands races as allied race options. i dont want to be offered another blue skin option. got enough blue. gimme brown, black, peach, tan, yellow, just not more blue. blue is a great hair color though.
I have a thought on this. What if the mother plays a role in how the offspring actually looks?
lets say that kalec is dragonplaying a half elf whose mother would have been human.
Meanwhile Arator represents a Half elf whose mother was a High Elf.
The general body scheme comes from the mothers race, and they have the blood of the other half.
No idea how they’d show that in game really if they were to make them an actual race with its own model but yeah.
Well…yes…that is how biology works my friend.
<.<
huehue
lol
I know. But we’re talking cross species in WoW. Not exactly biology based. orcs and draenei can make offspring for gods sake.
Yeah, we don’t talk about that, <_<
Seriously? You’re having a problem with a healthy discussion on game information but you have no problem with slandering Tarrok the other day???
slandering?
he said we were engaging in conspiracy theory. this is what people with a victim complex do - they use conspiracy theory to justify their belief in their victimization. that covers point number 1, though it doesnt cover lazy.
for lazy we have to look at the lack of motivation to just be positive about it, since all we’re doing, he says, is being negative nancies, not a direct quote, depressing potential new alliance players with all our old wives tales of being victimized by the developers.
You do know when I referenced old wive’s tales that that includes the idea that the horde is somehow mechanically advantaged in things? I was using that to refer to the stuff that is ‘common knowledge’ among all the players that either was never really true, or no longer true that plays a part in people thinking they have to play horde?
well i thought i was proactively looking for a mostly inoffensive way for both factions, since it wouldn’t impede on a horde race, when i suggested playable half elves who retain the quel’dorei title out of tradition and honoring of their forebears and make them so attractive to play both visually and mechanically, that it would cause an exodus of former alliance players back to alliance.
i’ve worked pretty hard on it too. offering up examples of how they might look. explaining how the lore might work, and how it resolve many problems.
so i dont think i’m being lazy, and if there was a mechanical problem and its been fixed but no one is playing, just saying hey we got cookies, is not gonna be enough motivation. we’re gonna need cookies being passed around by a handsome guy and beautiful gal, to the tune of a lovely harp and flute. haha
