Since there would be no playable ‘high elves’ added, it would only be Blood Elves and Void elves that would be of concern, imo.
That of course means the other faction has to get the skekski arracoa.

Alliance won’t get anymore elves. I predict more dwarfs. You’ll get the wild hammer dwarfs

because it doesnt make sense. there is no high elf army or settlement with a civilian pop in the alliance. but there is in the horde. for high elves its quel’thalas and the people of silvermoon, its not literally a couple elves lurking around SW

dwarves are getting wildhammer customizations in shadowlands. they wont be a separate race.

ever run magister’s terrace dungeon on the isle of quel’danas? remember at the half way point, you have to click an orb that shows you the sunwell and then when the scene ends a blue dragon flies in, lands and turns into a human looking guy with pretty blue hair? that was a blizz attempt at making a half elf. he’s supposed to be depicting a half elf. haha
yeah so something like him, but with a bit pointier bit longer ears, perhaps. maybe a bit thinner, and not so square of a jaw
You have the option of Night Elf, Blood Elf, Nightborne Elf and Void Elf. Anymore playable elves get added and it becomes World of Elfcraft. We don’t need anymore elves in the game.

we dont have half elves yet though, even though the first guardian of tirisfal was a half elf. kalecgos has a half elf persona. alleria windrunner has a half elven son right in the honor hold inn in outlands, named arator. you encounter him again in legion on the vindicaar and he’s probably in the paladin class hall in legion too. veressa windrunner has twin half elven boys. elisande in suramar, proclaims that the quel’dorei (alliance high elves) aren’t true high elves because their bloodlines are diluted from mingling with non-elves. so far, the only non elves they’ve mingled with is humans.
You have two elf races. You won’t get a third.
