New Race for the Alliance: HALF ELVES!

Ingame the only real difference between a belf or helf is eye color. Lore wise height, stature, skin tones, the use of tattoos/runes are other physical differences.

Culture wise belfs changed from high elves over time. The two sides generally do not get along in the lore.

I personally think if belfs and velfs had the optional skin tones and eyes added both sides could have their high elves.

And blizz could develop a better race from scratch.

As far as we know there where high elf refugees in theramore. Some went to moonwells to survive. And the silver covenant in dalaran are high elves. They are not a small organization. We see there members at various points in bfa, mop, and more.

Half Elf is usually my choice in an rpg if its an option.

Im sure we have had more interbreeding in wow then what blizz would ever show or say. But the fact is that what we have states that the silver covanent are high elfs not hybrids.

And i personally would rather blizz use the other dozen plus races out there. Just add blue eyes and fleshy skin tones to belfs/velfs.

There’s not really much in game lore about what the silver covenant even is aside from that Vareesa runs it and she has half elf kids. massive shrug

That doesnt mean anything. They are still part of that miniscule percentile.
There are 9x as many blood elves as high elves

Of course high elves are a small part of whats left of the belfs. But they are dtill there.

We don’t get exact numbers of each lore race. For all we know the high elves left in dalarsn are Snu snu ing like rabbits.

But given elves life spsns i doubt they are going crazy with repopulating. There are still some high elves out there though.

Rexars hybrid race is the only known population of hybrids. Other then that we only have gorona, and the three elf/human kids.

And the last hybrid was retconned away.

I don’t mean this to be dismissive but do you have a source for this?

I mean atleast if there might be little bit more news in terms of the Customization Options through. So far for Humans there’s Asian and Black Features for Skin Color and Faces.

So I wonder if in time we’ll see Half Elves for Humans become a option because of Lore Characters like Alleria’s Son Arator, Kalec, and Alodi.

Thing I can think about Half Elves would be Small Ear Options and maybe some Quel’dorei Features or something like that? I’ll probably be excepting Ear Options, and etc for Half Elves.

Its math.

90% of the high elf population was wiped out by Arthas.
90% then became blood elves, and then 10% remained as high elves.
When you do the math, high elves are 1% of the original population
This is pulled from the WoW encyclopedia, the blood elf race description, and Chronicles 3.

Kalec is a dragon. When he or any dragon take on humsnoid forms they can choose to make it whatever they want.

Kalec went for half elf. Most dragons use high elves in mortal form.

Stinky elf.

I can’t here you from down there. Need me to pick you up?

alodi was half elf too. he was a guardian of tirisfal, i do believe. and for some reason, kalecgos chose to appear as half elf known as kalec, but his model was just a human with unique blue hair.

they’ve had 3000 years of intermingling with humans in dalaran. elisande even points out that the silver covenant quel’dorei have diluted bloodlines.

Never heard of alodi. Is he a character outside the game? Or exclusive to s side quest?

As far kalecs mortal form. Yea in game its just a fancy human model. Books and such he is described differently.

He is s dragon though. They can choose their mortal forms.

so for gnomes, i vote fae gnomes with sprite darter hatchling wings. when they sit, a mushroom appears beneath them for a chair. their racial mount is a dryad, who also doubles as their partner in crime. they introduce a new class called faery magic. a spell example is brownies! where waves of tiny brownies (not dessert brownies but teeny fae creatures) stampede at the target, like in some pet battles.

hehe

He was first explored in a comic I believe and was recently in Legion involved with the Mage Order Hall. You work with him throughout the order hall.
he was the first guardian of tirisfal (what Medivh was) and was immensely powerful even without the kirin tor filling him with power. And he was a Half elf.

he gives the mage artifact, ebonchill, in legion. he’s got some lore history involving tirisfal.

excerpt from wowhead

Alodi was the very first Guardian of Tirisfal. He's a half-elf who helped the Council of Tirisfal banish the dreadlord [Kathra'Natir](https://www.wowhead.com/npc=102785/kathranatir) when their Spearhead, the Guardian's predecessor, couldn't do the job. Alodi and [Meryl](https://www.wowhead.com/npc=102850/meryl-felstorm) came up with the method of transferring the Council's power into the Guardian from a distance, because with the Spearhead they had to do it close by and so risked endangering themselves. For the full story check out *The First Guardian* , a short chapter in one of the *Warcraft: Legends* manga.
