Playable Fungals/Fungri err… what were they called again? They seem to have different names depending on if they’re on Azeroth, Draenor or in the Shadowlands. ANyway yes, I agree, playable Mushroom people would be amazing. I love that world quest in Maldraxxus where you get to help them by becoming one.

Also playable Naga would make me very, very happy. And Saurok.

…and Ogres, of course. I still have the perfect name for my Ogre, all I need is for them to make the Ogres a playable race.

Would be neat if we had more dead races as an option for undead, not just undead humans but what stopped other Titan forge races to become undead? How cool would undead dwarves and gnomes be?? Also while I’m at it, why not skeletons?? We could always use more skeletons!! It’s skeleton time!!

Naga. If the Mechagnomes have no leg/arm/feet/hands slots at all, then there is no longer an excuse to not bring in the fishes. Alliance could get Sethrak sneks while Horde get the fish people, albeit in a substantially reduced capacity. Naga are conceptually overpowered, so I think that the playable ones would need to be rebels largely disconnected from the Azsharan Empire and its goals, and largely distracted by civil war against the queen beneath the tides.

I like the idea of a splinter group of Naga joining. No idea what’s going to happen with Azshara now but I could see a scenario where disillusioned Naga call it quits and join either of the factions. I always liked the idea of playable Naga but dang this thread has really ignited a passion in me for them.

I like the idea of skeletons, I would’ve thought they’d be a cool customization option for undead- rot, no rot, complete rot all the skin is gone.

I want a third faction of the Azeroth races banding together and rising up against their more civilized oppressors.

Gnolls, quillboars, naga, murlocs, centaurs, ogres, and harpies all banding together. We could have 3 faction battlegrounds (tell me that doesn’t sound epic) or just the same 2 faction ones- just with another faction tossed in sometimes. It would refocus us on Azeroth as a true world war for control and also ground us in a more basic threat than whatever new giant baddie Blizz pulls out their butt. Toss in less restrictions for xfaction RP for pacifists and it would be pretty neat.

I don’t know, I just think a 3 faction game would be cool. I’d also settle for a Starcraft MMO where I can be a Protoss and knife Terrans and bug players.

I think it’s well passed time for a third faction. It might help with the stagnation that the story is prone to now.

I’m still mostly so-so on new races and would like more customizations for existing races.

I was thinking it’d be neat if they Frankenstein the Night Fae Sylvar models to give Tauren and Draenei different body types and because I want to be able to skip when I run.

I honestly think I’d choose different body types over new races. I’d like to a male tauren that had a lighter build - more along the lines of the classic caster body type. And I’d like to see a female model that was taller with more muscle mass. But I think every race would like to see that.

I’d love to see even more subraces to the races that already exist. I think the customization and story opportunities are fantastic.

We’re up to, what, three different varieties of elf that all come in blue-purple?

I think I’d like to see them in a different color. Seafoam, maybe. Or perhaps hot pink.

Protip: if you don’t want your elves to be blue, do something spontaneously nice for them to brighten their day!

We could get that with felblood elves? Wouldn’t that be a cool customization for Blood Elves??? Alliance High Elves…er Void Elves get cool spoopy blue void skin while Blood Elves could also get some cool spoopy fel red, pink, sometimes blue, I think I saw a green one? Also grey is another Elf :+1:
