I want to write the GM who said the forums were the best way for blizzard to get feedback because i feel like 2 hours of my life have disappeared with no real tangible benefit.
it’s clear that there are lots of very passionate thoughts and feelings on the subject, and i assumed that by me posting my own thoughts on separate thread, it would have just added to the pile of MT threads that blizzard would see. I severely underestimated everyone’s passion to jump into the conversation. Lesson learned.
I am growing tired of the tit for tat that this is clearly devolving to, so i hope you all have a great friday and I do appreciate everyone’s thoughts and perspectives. I feel like i have learned a lot about the topic, moreso than I have just reading other threads, so for that i thank you all.

You misspelled that whole “We’re not going to break our word to a very large number of players who invested time, effort, and resources into acquiring these exclusive rewards when they were available just because a very small number of forum-goers are continually engaging in hyperbolic, hoop-jumping arguments to try to get their way don’t get their feelings kinda-sorta but not really hurt.”
It’s trophy that was promised to be exclusive to the people that earned it.
Imagine you had a childhood teddy bear. It’s worn out and worthless but it means something to you and it’s yours.
Would it be right for someone to come in and tell you it’s just a worthless piece of cloth and you shouldn’t care if they take it from you to make a quilt?
That exclusivity was promised to them. It’s theirs. It’s not yours. Doesn’t matter if you think that shouldn’t matter to them.

I’m sorry that you care so much about pixels in a game that you feel the entitlement and need to throw people dow because you worked so “hard” for the the mage tower skins that were actually pretty easy to do.
I fight for inclusivity, while others for exclusivity.
Tell me what’s worse.
In my mind, no one should ever be excluded from anything.

And specifically, to bears, while every other class has access to 10,000+ mog variations, there are only 5 bear forms. Sure, this new MT is not much, as its only 1, but 1>0.

Who cares that you can’t get them back? I can say the same thing. Like, it’s our appearances we earned when it was around, as advertised, and that it was going away, yet again.
Like, again, it was a premise on it going away. Yet another person who doesn’t understand the concept of promises and keeping your word.
They don’t constantly remove content. It’s very rare, and when it happens it happens. Sorry that you end up liking what gets removed, but that’s on you, not on them. It’s advertised as time limited and going away. If you missed it, your problem, not theirs.
So is your argument. It’s ridiculous, at best, that it should come back.
Same for you and others like you, too, friend. Literally the same arguments people make for unlocking them can be made for keeping them locked. The same insults made to those who want to keep them locked can be made to those who want them unlocked, too.
Threads like this need to stop, but I’ll just keep finding these and telling every single one of you “no” – if you can’t take it that’s a “you” problem, but there’s many mogs out there you can get.
I don’t think the artifact weapons should come back at all. I like that they brought mage tower back with new appearances and respected the time of the players who got them during legion -because- there was a time limit on them. A lot of people rushed to get them because of that time limit and it’s nice that they chose to respect that. Good on blizzard here imo. It’s okay for a few items every expansion to be time limited imo as long as it’s very few.
Mage tower should have new rewards, the T20 recolors are a good start. Hopefully in the future it’ll have new sets entirely or bring back old sets that haven’t been updated yet.
Also making 10 different threads about this isn’t helping your case because the case is closed here. You have the same people arguing for and against this, making a new thread won’t change that and it won’t alter the decision, it’s just spam.
Agreed, like if it were recolors that’s fine. People aren’t asking for recolors, though, they’re literally asking for the exact skins back and it’s like “No, you can have recolors, but not the exact rewards colors and all.” Recolors are fine, remodels are fine, they’re newer rewards.
Recolors wouldn’t be bad or anything but I’d still rather have something completely new as a reward. The T20 recolors are close to that but new sets of armor or old tier sets that haven’t been updated yet would be cool as rewards imo, for the future at least.
I’m personally fine with anything that isn’t the same exact skins MT had in Legion. That’s my only “No” response, otherwise I’d be happy with anything else. Newer and cooler looking models or skins, yeah absolutely. Other things, titles, toys, mounts, pets, more Druid skins for like Cat, Travel and other forms, any of these are cool.
It’s more like one side is saying:
“You can’t have the thing I got, which means nothing more than pure exclusivity on account of existing and playing at a given time because the mage tower was a joke at the end of Legion.”
and the other side is saying:
“It would cool to be able to EARN those rewards, even if it’s harder because we won’t have 2 tiers of ilvl inflation to help us.”
I just don’t see how people willing to earn rewards is self-centered. If they wanted them just handed over like they were at the end of Legion, sure maybe. But that’s not at all what people are asking for.
