So don’t bring back the originals. Make recolors so the people who earned them in legion are still exclusive.
You aren’t the only person with the appearances.
You do realize the challenges weren’t even that hard right?

Depends a lot on perspective. Depending on your class and gear level some of them were not at all easy. If someone did their challenge prior to tomb of sarg. opening it would have been much more difficult as compared to someone doing it after antorus was open.
I too am not doing twisting corridors until 9.3, because I learned my lesson from the mage tower. Why Torture yourself when it’s going to be an absolute joke in a few months?
These yahoos acting like MT was pugging your way to gladiator is actually hilarious.
I get that the appearances were time limited, but they were also meant to be specialization locked permanently as well, yet they went against what they said at the time and blizzard changed that.
RIGHT? Very little of the leather gear that druids have access to look like anything a druid in the world of Warcraft would actually wear (CN and SOD gear sets, i am talking to you–just the most recent example.
Wish that was taken into consideration more. How our avatars look is a HUGE part of the enjoyment many of us get out of the game.
You’re making an assumption that everyone with artifact appearances would quit because a recolor came out.
Not true for me. I play Arms Warrior but I also did the Fury Mage Tower. Those appearances are the best. I have 8+ alts I made that are also warriors and I use those appearances in 7 of them. I honestly could care less about the exclusivity. I did it for the appearance that even now put BFA and SL weapon graphics to shame.

I will agree some challenges were harder than others. On my mage I think I found the frost one the hardest but even then it wasn’t super difficult.
Player skill is also a factor as well.
Because you cannot recreate an expansion. It’s the same argument involving elite mogs. Earning 2100, or 2400 now is very different than earning 2100, or 2400 in previous seasons. Systems, the meta, and class balance all change. The same thing here.
I got my discipline appearance in April on the second time the mage tower was up for NA. Tomb did not release until June. I did my mage tower challenge in Nighthold gear, and PvP gear. And guess what? It was a nightmare. Tugar was one of the easier ones too, but as a very undergeared (for the challenge) discipline priest? That was brutal. And I sat there. And I did it over. And over. And over.
Now with the changes to discpline, which have made the spec much easier than before during NH? Someone will easily stomp it. I imagine most people will easily stomp the Mage Tower unless Blizzard overtunes it via the scaling.
But it still doesn’t recreate the same experience. And, as mentioned, when we are told something? It should remain true. “You will no longer be able to get these appearances passed this date.” “Word, thanks for letting me know, I’m on it.” I got all 36 appearances. I busted my butt for them. Other people busted their butts for theirs.

Some people like to challenge themselves and some don’t, I don’t really see this as a design flaw.
This is just silly.
At this point I just want them to give out recolors for all the appearances. Kinda sucks the bear was the only one that got that treatment. Still no flails or flame warglaives anywhere else. I use to want the og ones back but seeing so much hate on it just makes me want to compromise and do recolors. It would benefit both sides so vets can get something too.

I think that is a bold claim–especially given that exclusivity and special mean different things to different people.
But that’s ok. We are clearly on different sides of this conversation.

Nope I’m fully aware there are some who wouldn’t care but you’re still stuck on the mage tower and this issue is far bigger than that with much bigger implications if they set a precedent like this, then there would be no reason for anything in the past to remain out of the game or exclusive and that’s not the WoW I grew up playing and never will be.
It would be much simpler for the people who want that design to go find a game that will cater to their needs and wants because this game isn’t going to be like that or change.
Also Blizzard knows the people crying about wanting everything won’t leave anyways so they have no reason to go back on their word for the likes of you.

I’m aware, but the other people with the appearances also, as I said before, did it in the proper time frame and earned it within the proper perameters set forth. That’s what matters.

It was locked to the weapon, I didn’t like to have to my weapon transmogged to the Claws just to have a certain cat look - sooooo great they put it all on the barbershop and added the fire cat.
Your negativity and condescension are really off-putting. I wish you could see that no one is out to get your or ruin your experience.
You arent from that small group so you dont care. But if you were you would care.
You are a druid you should be happy for the new fel form bear. Do not complain for not getting the original models.
man i sure hope you aren’t using your flying mount with that logic. after all during wod blizzard told us there was no plans for flying.

I’m tired of seeing all the babies crying over wanting everything, and frankly my patients arguing with people over things has ended due to the anti vaxx clowns I deal with irl so I apologize if I come off as a jerk.
