Thank you for the info, I haven’t made a new DK in a long time so might be nice to revive the old days and get a mount.
The intro does take a couple of hours though.
So it might be worth it to just bite the bullet and eat the queue if you think you will ever come back to the toon, or just recognize you will have to do it again at some other point in time if you want to roll DK.
It is a cool intro, but it gets old quick. Like real quick.

they will be ones saying new. Skyfury (west coastt) and Maladeth (east). they are servers all started at level 1 about 2 weeks ago.
other servers we are all rolled over from tbcc.

I think I’m ok with a dead realm, I have no real plans to play classic after getting the mount. I still have retail collections to work on. The plus one to my mount count is hard to pass up tho
Beats paying 25 dollars in the store shop.
It’s Promo mount, it doesn’t effect anyone, it doesn’t ruin the game experience of others.
They have done similar things with cross promotion mounts.

Seriously, BFA did an awesome prepatch promo mount in the form of the Teldrassil Hipporgriff. It harms nobody that I have it and it brings me happiness just like this new mount doesnt hurt anyone and will bring people happiness. So who cares?

I was right. Manufactured fake outrage flavor of the week.
a blue once confirmed that there would never be any cross rewards between classic and retail.
i thought this protected us from shenanigans like getting a retail mount for loggin in classic but apparently i got played by the play on words 
it’s not a cross reward since the mount isnt available in classic lol

over like 1.5 hours of work really.
When I made mine who I will play for real even the dreaded “interrogation” quest was shockingly not that bad. Got my confession 2nd scarlet in.
I’ve damn near leveled a dk 1 level here in retail. so many scarlets…so damn many.

Can’t think of any other reason why Blizz would want to coax players into leveling some throwaway DKs.
It’s RNG, I’ve leveled at least 10 Death Knights over the years and some get it the first couple of guys and some get it 20 guys later.
