Knight-With-Dragon-Powers is the most boring fantasy shwag you can get that isn’t Necromancer. I would be very dissapointed.

Dragon Evoker seems better than tinker.
Alexstrasza has healing flames, that’d make for an interesting healing spec… considering we haven’t gotten a new healer since MOP it’d be nice. Maybe a shapeshifting dragon spec? Make for a really cool melee experience.

Who TF said dragon-knight? We are talking a dragon caster. And as the cow said why does WC3 matter? Devs said that book is closed time to move forward with new ideas(to warcraft).
It’s been 20 years. New territory is bound to come up.
Whatever it is, I hope it’s not Tinkerers. It’s a boring class concept people keep bringing up, and there would be absolutely no logic or sense in releasing such a class during an expansion about dragons. They would basically be engineers with profession skills as abilities.

It’s pretty fun using dragon incantations in elden ring and looks darn cool. Nothing I would ever describe as a “dragon knight”.
The thing is Blizzard is gonna do what they want regardless of what you or I want. They have made public statement against tinkers and while that may change I wouldn’t count on it.
Bards are more likely seeing as Blizzard has made other former April Fools jokes into reality.

There is literally no precident for this in World of WarCraft. It would be made up on the spot… Unlike every class we’ve gotten so far.
A new ranged class is needed. Also there is so much potential for adding new specs to the classes already in game. Bring back Mop survival to hunters. Add a ranged spec to Dh similar to D3 Dh. A melee arcane mage spec that uses summoned arcane familiars. Mage healer spec that uses the alteration of time and arcane familiars to heal their group. Shaman tank spec that has perma elementals that assist in tanking. I could go on but those would be my go-to specs.
No im talking about an interview from early in the game’s life (around Wrath) when asked about adding a tinker class the reply was that engineering was in the game to represent that fantasy.
What was the precedent for Vengeance Demon Hunter? There was none. It was created so that DH would have 2 specs and so they could tank.
As this is supposedly the beginning of a new chapter in the Warcraft story(the last one being what started in WC3) it would make sense to start off with a class created from new lore to promote said “next chapter”.
Most of the people on here know that on Tuesday you will be on here complaining about how they didn’t announce tinkers again. I will bet money on that.

I am sure tinker will eventually happen but not likely in a dragon xpack. I’d shoot for either the other side of Azeroth or Subterranean Azeroth expansion.

Idk, the first time I played a goblin, I really wanted to be a tech class since it fits so well with their society. I settled for a hunter with a mechanical pet but a tinker class could have been cool
