100% pass id rather not have a new class if its a tinker.

If you just don’t like the idea, I can’t change your opinion.
But Tinker is a good fit for the game, it’s unlike existing classes and it’s based on WarCraft 3.

Someone who leaked lots of Legion things went on MMO Champion yesterday and said the new class is a ranged magic class that draws a lot from the current Arcane mage spec and hinted that it was named “Evoker”.
Makes sense to have a magical class for a Dragonflight expansion, especially since we are in need of a new ranged class with hopefully a healing spec. Hopefully they use chronomancy to heal!

What’s my fav kind of range? Casters. Hopefully, this one is well designed.

Evoker is literally someone on MMO champion thinking, “Whats the most boring class?”
Trust or not, a new spec isn’t going to harm any class negatively.
There is tons of lore on these classes, enough to figure out a new spec for each. They need to take the people’s opinions in… I’ve heard some amazing ideas, like a chronomancer mage being a healer… that’d be amazing. People throw these ideas at companies all the time.
Shaman tank aka earthwardens been in game forever has been thrown around the community so many times people has even made fan made spells and toolkits

Eh, There is also the more selfish issue.
The class Fantasy that I want to roleplay as is “Tinker”
We see npc tinkers everywhere, we have entire zones, quests, and races for Tinkers.
They would need to be a new class, as they are entirely thematically seperate from the existing classes.
There are two races… goblins an gnomes.
Why does tinker need to be a whole class? What specs would there even be? You could easily relegate that to a spec and then give all classes a new spec… adding so much more to the game.

Draenei have Artificers, and Orcs have Technicians.
Also:
A Spec for what class then? None of the classes are themed around Technology.
Blizzard has literally done all of this before in BFA.
3 Specs, Ranged DPS with Guns, Explosives, and Turrets.
Ranged Healer with Guns, Healing Grenades, and Healing Shots
Melee Tank in a Shredder.
None of that is from Me, Those are specs Blizzard Designed for NPCs in WoW. Not to mention all the Tinker ideas on these forums and MMO champion.
Gonna hard disagree with them being viable class tinkers.
Rogue makes a lot of sense, already supposed to have tools… maybe tinker would abandon the stealth aspect. Maybe even the warrior.
On what class have they done that? Maybe I’m missing something… ?
You’re talking about a shredder? Those things max out at like 3 buttons… the comparison to a full on class is… not really a fair comparison.
