right, so if I want to select the proper gems or stats I want for crafted gear, how would I go about choosing which stats I want?
I can guess and just do different sims or I can just do stats sim?
Top Gear and add those gems/enchants as modifiers on the item.

Thats going to take hours, why not just do stats sim and find out in 1 go?
You can read, right? And no it takes like 2 seconds to click the different modifiers.
I am not 100% sure what you used for your original, because I cant get any sim to get near to that 20m number
But I did a variety of others
5m Patchwerk 1 targets
5m Patchwerk 5 boss targets
1m30s Pathwerk 5 targets
They each have the DISC belt coming out on top.
Vers belt proc leading the charge on ST, Mastery on AE
It takes clicking a few things. A few minutes really.
If you do the stats sim it will be inaccurate.

I bet it tells you Crit/Vers is my best stat at the moment and I found out in 1 sim

akston, ya i see what your saying that simc isnāt actually picking up the disc Iām using, ty for catching that, but it still blows me away that this bad a$$ best is just barley better than my current one, Fail on blizzards part if you ask me

Quick look at Icy Veins says:
Intelligence is your most important stat.
icy veins and wow head are just rough guides, I am going off an actual simulation of my character
The only spec I know (there may be others) is bm hunter, and even they wear the belt at 701 ilvl for a few % upgrade over mythic
To be fair.
The only simulation stating that, the people running the simulation say ādo not use this, its outdated and is not accurateā

we know main stat doesnāt have a DR, but other stas do.
just pointing out that I saw it also.
belt only goes up to 694 atm
This is true of a couple specs right now. Primary isnāt BAD, but itās worse than secondaries for some specs.

So first you want to make sure you check this
Then select all the gems in question
Here are two different sims, one for ST, one for AE. Looking at nothing but different gem options.
You have a few talent trees. I dont know which is your best one to use for ST or AE. So I just kept it as default/active one for now

This does show a different gem line up being slightly better, but such a small difference it doesnt really matter. Not even a 0.1% increase for changing into ideal gems. Which would be Haste/Crit ones. Deadly Emerald, for all gem slots available.
