New Belt is a dps decrease

Would you say the new belt is a waist?

sec running a diff sim atm,
andy very clever keymah lol

No way intellect is your lowest stat when I see the top key pushes still weighing it above all else, they literally say ilvl is king because of intellect and then if it’s tied you look at secondaries.

I’m not saying the belt can’t be a loss, that is possibly, but the intellect part isn’t true

stat weights

It’s not that uncommon in later seasons for secondaries to scale up over main stat.

Persistent aoe sim makes sense for stats to be higher.

Stop using stat weights.

You simmed on Patchwerk. If you’re looking for a closer approximation for M+, use Dungeon Slice.

I’d be curious to see a source for that considering primary does not have diminishing returns and secondaries do.

I can see him wearing leather agil gear

Dungeon slice isnt good for ele

Typically, you just sim patchwerk st, 1 target 5m

And maybe a 5m 1m30s

turning off lust, etc. Look at both. Then you follow your heart.

Nice man, you got that with agil gear ?

The raid belts were all beating mine on mm hunter earlier but if you’re not using simc it doesn’t recognize the belt using anything other than nerfed bolts. I changed mine earlier and resimmed and it’s way ahead now. Use simc and import that to raidbots after you switch out bolts. Don’t use that one

this is Simc, copied from add on and imported to raidbots

I can be a source. I have 681 haste/mastery bracers. I have a pair of 684 haste/verse in my bag that sim lower (because mastery is super bloated value for Druid).

It’s just a byproduct of the maths involved — different stats scale at different rates, and more int means every point it mastery is worth more, and some point the graphs cross. It doesn’t means drop all item levels for a pinch more mastery, or course, but item level doesn’t always determine the best gear, more so in later seasons of course.

raidbots has been a bit wierd lately.
It tells me the same thing

Critical Strike 28.13
Versatility 26.96
Mastery 26.61
Haste 26.38
Intellect 23.30

  • If you added 2310 Critical Strike to your character, each point would add an average of 28.13 DPS (this does not guarantee that 1 Critical Strike = 28.13 DPS)

( Pawn: v1: “Ravenhex - Shadow - Patchwerk (Raidbots)”: Class=Priest, Spec=Shadow, Intellect=23.30, CritRating=28.13, HasteRating=26.38, MasteryRating=26.61, Versatility=26.96 )

After looking at the gear selection closer, it looks like you didn’t actually select a Use on the DISC belt. I switched it to Dungeon Slice and put on Static Charge and ran it again, and it’s showing a +75k on the DISC belt.

Raidbots also says

Raidbots strongly advises against using stat weights - they are an outdated tool and often result in sub-optimal results. Using direct sims of actual gear (like Top Gear and Droptimizer) is a vastly better approach
