This dumb policy actually encourages gold buying since you can’t sell those herbs you farm on the AH for gold but you can RECEIVE gold from botters.

The restriction is just dumb. A determined botter is just going to have a backlog of accounts that are older than 30 days to cycle into his bot network and completely circumvent the restriction meant for them…meanwhile you get mages who can’t even trade their conjured water…

Guy has nearly 9000 posts. See him on these forums all the time. There are others on here with thousands of posts and all they do is misinterpret you and act as rude as possible.

Wild suggestion but you might consider playing retail where gold rains from the sky for 26 days, if you find Classic without the AH too restrictive. The War Within is a pretty good expansion, too.

While you’re free to have your opinion on my own comments, I disagree with your take. My reply is helpful, and that’s why I’m giving it. Sometimes people think that there are better alternatives, I disagree with that. This is an excellent case of either deal with the situation as it is, or quit, because if it’s that big of a deal to you, that’s the only way to signal that.
The refund policy link is helpful, and I said so! But the “suck it up or quit” attitude gives the impression that you don’t think people should be giving feedback. Of course people should give feedback if a policy is negatively impacting their experience! That’s how policies get changed.
And I think the situation is a little more nuanced than either “this is bad enough to quit over” and “it’s not worth complaining over”. There’s plenty of room between those two poles. I’m really enjoying my time on the new server so far, barring this issue. Does that mean I just shouldn’t bring it up?

There’s a policy in place. If you don’t like it, and you want to complain, then go ahead and complain. If you’re going to say:

Then you should know that it’s incredibly unlikely that you are going to be the only exception to this rule. If that is unacceptable to you, then hurry as fast as you can and request a refund.
The rule doesn’t impact Retail as far as I know, so you can go play that if you need to trade on the AH. If you don’t, you can play HC and try out the SF mode, which might be fun, esp. if you are planning on playing on either Era realms or the Normal Anniversary realm in the future.
Otherwise, it’s literally only being restricted from trading and using the AH for a month. That’s not that big of a deal, imo, but if it is to you, then do whatever you’d like about it. That’s the current policy though, possibly for reasons.

On a fresh launch itnstraight up ruins everything. Mc releases un 3 weeks and if you’re ssf youre not getting in any raids

The fact this is not revealed until after you playing the game borders on fraud caused by obvious negligence. No they won’t refund you as I have tried and since I was playing to reach level 10 to post I went over some limit on hours played.
The worst part is not being able to mail between characters and lifting just that restriction would mollify many. I even have an authenticator on my account as I created in in November of 2023 when I bought D2R
Grant me 26 days play time if you are going to cheat me out of the experience of interacting with other players, amazing how Blizzard forgot what MMO is.

This new system literally turns you into a bot.
You do nothing for the economy of the game but take up resources. You gather nodes and grind mobs that other players could have but have to horde it.
Except at sime point you have to stop playing because you cant even mail yourself and run out of bag space. So you unsub and never sell anything because you got a life

Pretty simple where I got it. You will not hit 40 in a month on a warrior. Sure, people CAN do this, just you won’t. Your attitude in this thread makes it obvious you don’t have the skill level to hit level 40 on a warrior in a month, even playing on a server where you can freely die.
Even if you could:
You are not playing in an environment where it would matter to not have AH access for a month. That is what we’re telling you. If this was retail or era it might be different, on a fresh server that’s been out for 3 days where most people are not level 30, you will be fine. If it bothers you that much, as was said before, report it or quit until its changed. You seem fond of quitting already as you have already admitted, so like.
