This is because AV was still the highest HPH. With AB and WSG giving 7500 for turn ins they may not have needed to remove the barrier between Premades and Solo queues, they should have waited a week or two after the 7500 honor change before deciding to keep or remove the barrier.
Higher MMRs are granted upscaling honor gains for higher end play.
Instantly fixed
This just is t going to happen in reality. Too many unrealistic variables. Itâs not like arena where there are 4 players
Doubtful because Alliance will still be losing the majority of the time.
The poster above just said he won 10/10 as a premade and 7/12 solo.
Alliance are not helpless POWs
Iâm currently 0/13 today in solo queue.
The other guy isnât tho
So we are seeing two different anecdotal experiences
If you promote a winners game, people will start trying because itâs better. It really is that simple
Blizzard knows the win rate data, and I suspect it heavily favors the horde.
When it comes to BGâs Horde have a massive advantage. Yes Paladins are OP in 1v1 but Shamans are OP in group fights which is the vast majority of BG matches.
Of the 13 games only 4 have been 5 cap blow outs, 5 have been games we lost with around 1200 resources, and 4 have been games where we could only hold ST.
Well of course. Why would it be any different when alliance were literally supposed to lose fast on purpose?
That doesnât mean alliance canât win. We are just arguing semantics really for no reason at this point because alliance premades are winning. Whatâs on paper isnât always reality
In matches today I havenât seen any games were we were intentionally throwing but trying to win with the changes. We just got destroyed in 8 of those 13 games so far.
Well when Horde Win Rate is 95%, 5% of the time the Alliance wins. I never said Alliance wasnât winning.
Someoneâs gotta win and someoneâs gotta lose. Such is the nature of âpvp gamesâ. One thing people share in common as the losing party is to point to any reason they can that doesnât include âwhat could I have done better?â
Without proof of this data itâs just arguing in bad faith
And again it seems we are at an impass and nothing will change our minds. My horde shaman is 58 and 1/2 atm and I will let you know how my solo AB games (1st 10) go for him when he hits 60.
I tend to agree with your points but actually it could be good. If the sweats get the grind done faster and out of the way day 1 of reset then the casual solo quers who are playing for fun can maybe get some good pug v pug games the rest of the week. Idk maybe im being too optimistic
Itâs just unrealistic to allow a method where 100k hph is good game design.
Why not just remove restrictions and mail everyone their set at that point
Great change overall, objectives win the game and should be rewarded so. I still think premades should vs premades how it used to be, but Iâll take this as a win and be thankful people are pvpâing again. THANK YOU
Yea⌠what does this change⌠nearly nothing. It is a stupid unnecessary changeâŚ
Alliance Solo Queue is lucky if they get 50k HPH.
50k hph is better than a tournament grade WSG/AB premade could make on era even with all the best variables and situations in that teams favor, so Iâd say youâre doing just fine
The best youâll ever see in an era stock environment is 30k MAX. And thatâs extremely hard to do
Premades need to be reverted. Alliance arenât solo queân because they just love facing off against premades, they are doing it for honor/min farming. Right now the Alliance are trying to win more. However, Alliance tend to trend more towards honor/min even in losing situations. Example this weekend was AV weekendâŚAB was dead. Why? Honor/min in AV was higher than AB. Itâs just that simple. Alliance also tend to win more in AV as they arenât facing premades.
If you revert premades Alliance would try to win more often than trying to cheese their way around. You cannot point and say the reason for no solo ques was because premades werenât allowed. Itâs simply honor/min as long as that is good Allies will que for w/e BG has the upper hand. This weekend was literal proof of this. If you remove premades queân against soloâs Allies would definitely try harder. The answer isnât forcing Allies to run premades when they donât want too. One of the main reason horde are running premades are for faster ques.
Ya this weekend I won roughly 40% of my AV games as Alliance.
They werenât queing even when they removed premades so no, thatâs not an argument matching reality. Solo players had 3 phases to play and they didnât.
Because theyâre not playing for fun, and random battlegrounds are not designed to be fair.
If you want fair matchmaking you ask for a ladder system.
Who doesnât want to? Did you poll the playerbase?
The problem with removing premades is that youâre mixing different players into the same game that have extremely different battleground philosophies. Good players forced with bad players etc.
I should be able to group with people who play like I do, and I should be able to exclude dead weight and throwers.
This is no longer an argument and the solo players proved it themselves
