If they truly want to fix the issue. Literally give everyone an honor/min rate for people actually playing the game. So moving, casting, and doing objectives. If you are doing such things you are getting a flat honor per min. I’d make the marks give more honor per turn in so people would try harder. If you set the pace of honor/min by default then you’d force people to play the bg in the way it was designed.
I’d argue scrap the hph system entirely and go with something else that still requires a decent amount of time to sink
It incentivizes people to play objective, encourage feeling the reward for winning and not afk’ing/loss rush meta. Premades are still an issue for queues imo

Why are they an issue?
Do you really think 15 solo queue are going to beat a pre-composed team in discord shot calling kill targets and assigning nodes? It’s an issue because solo pugs don’t have a shot at winning and are still most likely going to get 5 capped for 1 mark. Put the pugs against pugs.

Battlegrounds aren’t designed to be fair, ladder systems are.
If you want fair games ask for a ladder

I am 100% pro ladder no argument there. I want competitive close games and would love for any kind of rating system to be put in place.

You are comparing apples to oranges dude. I don’t think you understand. AV was better honor so they que’d. The only reason we are que’n into AB is for the mark turn in. Otherwise, we’d be in AV farming right now even without the weekend bonus. These last 3 phases I que’d but last 2 were AV based.
That is a terrible argument. They are supposed to be fair as far as facing ppl. Solo vs Solo and Premade vs premade.
I said this in another post. This game is extremely unbalanced right now. The devs just put newspaper over the problem with the dam reduction instead of proper balancing. So ladder system or anything MMR based is just a bad idea until they balance pvp.
I’m playing Alliance and you’re not…and people on these forums with Ally toons are wanting solo vs solo ques. They are saying it’s hard to find premades as no one wants to do it. So no poll required.
Then the argument for that is for each side to do premade vs premade. That simple. Like minded players playing with each other and against people that want the same thing.
Once again nothing stopping you from doing premade vs premade.
No, it’s an argument that you’re trying to spin to your favor. As you do not want this to end as you play horde. You’ve made this self evident in your previous posts. If you do not understand that Allies prefer to do solo ques that is on you. What you’re going to see is a drop in games after this third week from Allies. If they are still que’n beyond the third week it’s to stack marks for their rank 14 grind. It’ll be dead in the water soon. If people aren’t having fun then they aren’t having fun.

Ask for a ladder system if you want fair BGs, random battlegrounds aren’t about fairness.

The losing less came about once we found out we were que’n into endless waves of premades. You remove that there will be an incentive to fight to win. If you have an extremely high chance to lose you make the most of it. Getting 5 capped with very little hks is frustrating so Allies made the most of the situation that was thrown at them. I wouldn’t blame the Horde if they did the same.
Fairness as in knowing you’re not having a high likelihood of facing a premade when you solo que. I’m not talking about independent skill level as that is random. So the solo is the random aspect of this. Premade is well the obvious.

I have, but I don’t want to be forced into playing the game in a way that I don’t enjoy. I’d like to que whenever I want instead of forcing a premade or waiting for one to be made. I should be able to solo que and not worry about facing an endless wave of premades.

You’re on copium if you believe this. Hopefully they’ll reverse this to solo vs solo so you can go back to your long ques where you belong. That’s the only reason you’re supporting this illogical view point. Just say, hey I want the faster ques. As this is your true intention and you don’t want to go back to the long ques. If you just said that, I’d have more respect for you. Instead you are making these illogical arguments in favor of having these instant ques.
It really is promoting premades alot tho. I hoped in one and started queing. But I think if anything it PROMOTES loss rush meta. More marks= more honor. 7500 to be exact.

Does that mean AV is not getting any changes for the rest of SoD? Seems kind of messed up to just abandon it. Why not take some time to make this BG more rewarding?

Probably not. AV was dominant as far as ques vs the other bgs. They could make it to where depending on the weekend that’s the better set up for honor/min. WSG is still going to be a challenge. Think the marks per flag cap was a step in the right direction.
