[Neutral RP Event] Duskrose Wandering Market

Nailed to many message boards in Stormwind and beyond, over old notices of bounties, faded photos and job listings, is a piece of parchment. It is of a light amber hue, and shimmers slightly in the light. The enchanted page flickers with the soft glow of candles. A pleasant scent filling your nose, like a midsummer bonfire held in a far-off rose garden. Spidery calligraphy winds its way down the page.

DUSKROSE WANDERING MARKET
Greetings fortune tellers, travelers, wanderers, traders, purveyors, and adventurers. We invite you to participate in our tale of trade, merriment, and the spirit of adventure. By the light of candle, bonfire and enchanted flame, we travel the boundless reaches of Azeroth, selling and celebrating the lands around. If you have an endless desire to wander, a penchant for traveling, and an appreciation for wherever the road may lead, we invite you to celebrate the world with us. Like rose petals scattered to the wild blue yonder, we travel, sharing whatever we may find along the way.


Hey, Moon Guard! Weā€™ve been working on the concept of a traveling market event for a little while, and weā€™re excited to finally get it announced. Hollowlight Ventures and our fellow coordinators Zilcar and Mirri would like to invite any and all merchants and entertainers to the Duskrose Wandering Market, a bi-monthly (once every two months), bazaar-style event meant to bring the community together for nights full of bartering, entertainment, trading, and immersive vendor RP. This event will take place the sometime around the second Saturday of every other month.

We encourage everybody to come, whether youā€™re flying solo, taking a group of friends, or even as a guild! Our aim is to have something for everybody here, and also maintain a high standard of RP and production quality.

Every two months, weā€™ll be moving the market to a new location, in an effort to keep this event fresh each time it rolls around, and also to engage any of the guilds that might try to keep their RP centered around certain locales all around Azeroth. Weā€™ve got a huge list of potential market locations that weā€™re scoping out, but suggestions are always more than welcome!

Date: Saturday, May 18.
Location: Booty Bay.
Start Time: 8:00 pm server.
Themes: black market goods, jungle troll items, goblin items, seafaring /sailor goods.


Vendor Information
To vend or entertain at the Duskrose Wandering Market, you will need to sign up for a booth each time the event comes around, due to how locations will be shifting. All vendors need to contact one of the coordinators via our Discord server. For ease of having a reference, thatā€™s where all sign ups for booth spots will be handled each time the market comes around.

After your first confirmed sign up with a mod, you simply need to send us a few sample items along with this information and a new booth location for the next market, not a full sample menu. We will be making a confirmed booth map every month, and this helps us keep everyone in order.

Our discord server is where everything will be handled, from updates on the market to booth claiming and assignment. If youā€™re interested in being a part of the event, or even just planning on attending, please join the server, and reach out to any of the coordinators of the event.

The Booth Map has been updated with participating vendors and their specialties for the Thundermar market, remember that these markets will be moving every time they come back around!

That means new themed goods and a fresh change of scenery every time you see Duskrose!

Love the sound of this, sounds like the old Nomad Market that existed back on Starsider on Star Wars Galaxies!
