Same for me, still missing the appearance
Can confirm, just completed the achievement today (10/04/2024). Did not receive the black scales.
Still busted as of day 23 since the patch.
I’m still missing them as well. I suppose that’s what I get for being an over achiever who golded all the races.
Well, they can’t take that away from you.
(I guess they could, technically.)

I got the achievement a few weeks ago and I’m still waiting to get the black scales. I also submitted a bug report. Please fix, Blizz.

Nor I. If they ARE being mailed to some people, it’d be nice to hear how this is being worked on, if anything needs to be done to prompt that to happen

Still no black scales for me and there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme nor reason as to why. And Blizz won’t unlock it through tickets they just send an auto reply of “thank you for playing this game for so long yada yada please submit bug ticket.”

As of April 15, I have had this achievement (Now THIS is Dragon Racing!) for just shy of a month. I have STILL not received the Black Scales. No mail, no retroactive appearance in the Rostrum. This is a bit frustrating - All the other latent mount rewards have shown up, but not this.

Me too, still nothing.
I checked the Rostrum every single day but nothing. Someone else mentioned that they copied their character to the PTR and the Black Scales appeared there - I might try this and see if it works for me. Not that it’ll help on Live servers but it’ll be interesting if nothing else.
EDIT: Just tried and it doesn’t appear for me.

As of 04/16/24, still don’t have mine either since I completed the achievement in November, no option in the Rostrum. CS also told me just to submit a bug report to fix it.

Still broken still don’t have the scales as of 4/16/24. People have said they are missing it regardless of the source of where they got the drake so I am unsure if its because of the hotpatch that removed the locked colors in the beginning. I’m just beyond frustrated at this point because blizz refuses to acknowledge us and sends us all kinds of AI response bull.

I’ve had the achievement for a couple of resets now and still nothing, but I am curious. For anyone in this thread who remembers, can you tell me if you got your dragon from the trading post or the emerald dream?
I got mine from the post, like a couple commenters above said, and I still can’t see the scales option, but my friend who got it via quests has the option available.

Can confirm that despite hotfixes today claiming this was fixed, it is still broken for me and I still do not have a manuscript or the option at the rostrum. I must admit, it’s getting pretty frustrating.
Someone replied to me in one saying they got the drake from the quest but the scales are unavailable to them so I am not certain that is the defining factor
Still not working for me. Honestly I truly think it’s not getting fixed for several months - I’ve had a bad feeling about this since it happened and just knew it was going to be a long time, if ever, that it’d get sorted.
