I thought I was the only one >_< This is legitimately one of the customizations I’ve wanted the most - I knocked out the achievement THE DAY that it was announced as a reward, from close to zero races done.
All for nothing. Feels really bad man.

Yeah I still haven’t gotten the black scales either myself even having finished the achievement like a week ago. I bug reported it in game and still not seen anything fixed.

I confirm: I’ve just learned this reward existed, and I already had the achievement already completed before 10.2.6 went up, but I didn’t get the black scales option for Netherdrake either. This is clearly bugged for a lot of people, me included.

Same over here, learned about it moments ago. Logged in, checked that the achievement was completed and went staight to the Rostrum, only to find the option missing.

Still missing scales on 2024/04/08
When the dragonriding version of the netherdrakes were added and the appearance became customizable the Rostrum showed Green and Black scales as locked options alongside the purple and teal colors. After awhile, either through a hot fix or something, both those options were removed and nothing showed up except purple and teal.
Maybe I am way off base with this suggestion but maybe that fix/change is still in effect and needs to be looked at. This was around the time The emerald dream stuff came out and people could unlock the netherdrake via quests instead of trading post.

Interesting… I wonder if the people having the issue with the black scales are ones that received the drake from the trading post (that is where I received mine). Meanwhile people that have gotten the black scales, they received their drake from the quest…
Anyone else received from trading post and missing the scales?

That’s my biggest gripe about this now. This Netherwing bug has been going on for a month plus now, but Blizzard has the time to nerf Taivan’s size, breaking his lore in the process.

Completed the achievement today (04/09/24), and I do not have the black sales in my bags, mail, or Rostrum after relogging several times.
I mean we’re really just taking stabs in the dark here, but yeah I got the mount from the trading post and yes I did not get the black scales from the achievement like I was supposed to.

A simple blue post saying “We are still working on fixing this” would go a long way to shut us up.

We already know they are aware of it through the multiple tickets many of us have sent. It will EVENTUALLY be fixed, but it’s pretty clear it’s not a priority. A blue post isn’t going to change any of that.
Came here at the recommendation from my ticket that provided the response that they were too busy to answer it. I feel like my issue was completely dismissed and they just put us all together.
Chiming in again. It’s been almost a month, and still no black scales. This is becoming ridiculous.

It’d shut me up for sure. Nothing said lets my mind wander about how they actually think. Could be they are just very busy with a lot of stuff to work on whereas they could just be extremely arrogant and don’t want to engage with the plebs like me.
Completed the achievement two days ago, still no reward.
What is the point of playing the game if the rewards are broken?
Why should I even bother with the new meta if this is the kind of support I can expect when something as critical as rewards aren’t even given the proper resources needed to fix in an acceptable time frame?
