Hear you out? Sure.
Evasion. You canāt hit a rogue who pops it with anything except shocks. No melee hits means no maelstrom stacks, which means no instant spells like healing wave nor lightning bolt. Also no windury procs, no + nature damage taken debuff from stormstrike, and several GCDs wasted on the wrong abilities.
Rogue still wins on resisted stuns.

reduced the CD a couple of seconds and reduce the cast time by a second and a half or so and call it good
50% dodge chance vs a DW rune that gives you 10% free hit chance = 0 possible hits I guess?

Because rogues are stronger in the 1v1 than shamans, but if you lose that argument you need to deflect to something else.
given the context of my post I was clearly talking about the class in a team fight. but I guess if you want to assume 50% dodge chance with evasion = no hits, is it a fair assumption to say every lava burst is going to overload?

60-70% of a shamans damage is from weapon swings. Thatās enough for a rogue to outright win the fight if even a couple of dodges happen.
You can see the amount of brain dead players that are playing shaman at the moment. None of them can grasp that they are strong in a group setting and always fall back on āOh no a rogue can beat me with 15mins of CDs up, they need a nerf!ā

I love people jumping on a Shaman to talk negatively about other players that have been playing one since day 1. What do you what us to do? stop playing the class? lol
Most of us agree that Shamanās (Ehn was way OP, not so much Ele till Burn rune) are a bit overtuned and in group battle Eleās are second to none. Though, I will say it a Lock and Mage can make life difficult for Shamans. CoT will reck any Ele, period.
Just post on ur original class which is probably a Paladin. So, we can at least make fun of you. lol Only Warriors, Mages can complain freely here. =)

Yep and your reasoning behind eles not being strong is a warlock can slow the casting speed of their instant cast lava bursts / flameshocks.

Whats the problem? Clerics get Holy Burst 100% crit on targets affected by Holy Shock. Seems balanced
