It hurts the game because Priests are one of the least played classes rn and Shadow sucks horribly. If they nerf priest healing you take the whole class out of any niche whatsoever. They already do significantly less damage then other healers
This is the lie though. People do die without a healer going OOM.
It is currently because it’s not scaling effectively. Might is 55 AP, and Horn is 32 AP for melee with some crit. but the crit isn’t enough to offset.
I forsee Divine Storm being nerfed in damage and Horn getting buffed in value. Because right now it’s not worth using even without competition.
Priests are absolutely NOT one of the least played classes. Where on earth are you getting your statistics?
My guild for BFD waits on average 30m to an hour to get a second healer for BFD. I pug my second healer every BFD.
Why should horn be better then improved might where someone puts 5 talent points into it?
Horn isn’t even better than normal might first off, and second because it takes up a rune slot.
Rune slot is roughly equal to talent investment. Look at Aegis. Why is Aegis literally better than 10 points of protection talents?

Priests being overtuned is WHY there are no healers. I gave up on getting resto gear completely because I was wasting my time.

Yea it couldn’t be the overwhelming performance of the other roles those specs have, and people wanting to try out new things.
It’s not like Shaman Tanks and Feral DPS are massively popular in their own right. Those specs are totally the meta because of the big bad priest healers.

Yall acting like I wanna miss work fr. I am gonna take the first healer who joins our group. LMAO I am not really in the mood to wait even longer for my BFD groups to fill. Nobody in my raid is declining healers they just do not exist. I am the only healer in my raid team and they have been looking for a perm fill but the options are very limited. Nerfing the healers when its already this bad is a horrible idea fr.
