Agreed, totally agreed
The trolls would have submitted to the Orcish Horde, yes and they would have been treated as equals. Why because Orgrim doomhammer must keep his word, according to the Orcish custom. Even if you are an enemy in Orcish custom you have to keep your word. Gul’dan at that point was not leader, he had been overthrown in a coup by Orgrim Doomhammer. Doomhammer would have kept his word to the Human Perenolde who betrayed the alliance to help the Orcish Horde conquer lordaeron.
It said in the book Tides of Darkness, That doomhammer wanted to kill Perenolde on the spot because he knew the human was a honorless person. But doomhammer didn’t even hurt him, because he gave his word to Perenolde and it even says Doomhammer planned to honor it.
Sir, please, you are a noble defender of Azeroth now.
Though the orcs came to Azeroth as conquerors, your kind has shed the thirsty ways of old and now stand in defense of your new home.
Ahahahaha, why would the trolls have submitted? If anything, they would have demanded the Orcish Horde now wear their banners, such was their arrogance!
The Orcs have more right the Azeroth than the humans do. The Trolls were the original Denizens of Azeroth and Orcs are more friendly with Trolls than Humans are.
That makes zero sense, way to grasp at straws.
Save for a couple of tribes, they would have tried to either kick the orcs out or simply tried to dominate them. Depending on their mood. I mean, for crying out loud, the trolls have killed their own gods, all for the sake of temporal power.
Ummm no, see the Horde only wanted a land to call their own, Lordaeron was their intended conquest. The trolls planned to have Quel’thalas, which was their land before the cursed High Elves stole it. So the Trolls would have had no need to force the Orcs. Trolls didn’t want to conquer only to be left to their devices.
My god, I’m so sick of these writers.
In any case, I hope Tyrande gets her vengeance, I won’t stand in her way. If there is an option, I’ll help her even.
Would have been better if they had us finish the job before Sylvannas decided to be dumb and evil villian monologue in front of her willing servants.
If all nelf players were the LAST nelfs, it would allow for actually engaging story and revenge plots. You’d have an excuse for the racism you’ve shown to this date.
Don’t worry Tyrande won’t get her “vengeance”. The real vengeance would be the Amani trolls getting their land back and the Alliance in Stormwind burning like Teldrassil.
WHAT?! The Horde wasn’t looking to just ‘carve out a slice’ of Azeroth, they wanted the whole of the world! JUST. LIKE. DRAENOR. This means they would have been brought into conflict with the trolls, which means fun times for everyone!
Also, the trolls DID want to conquer. They just ran out of room and influence, thus their fall into decadence and decline.
At this point, have at it. Burn it all. Start over.
There is something called desire and restraint. The Orcish horde was not lead by Guldan or the Shadow council during the second war (invasion of Lordaeron and Quel’thalas). The Amani trolls would not invade the Orcs in Lordaeron or turn on them, cuz that woud be stupid. The Amani lived peacefully alongside the Humans of Arathor, until the humans allied with the High elves (and stole Amani land).
In Draenor they were under influence by Gul’dan, the Legion and shadow council.
When I think of the Orcish Horde (not horse, those go whinny and, uh kinda like restraints, huff) of WC 1 and 2, yeah, restraint is what comes to mind.
The burning and near-annihilation of Stormwind? Restraint. The invasion of Azeroth as a whole? Restrained, surely.
Are you kidding me with this? I’ve seen more restraint from the Scourge.
You are wrong …
A void elf, says i’m wrong??!! oh no, I must be wrong, because a descendent of the High elves (who stole Amani Trolls land) says i’m wrong. /sarcasm
I will join you in the crusade sister.
