Neil Young? Opposition to Microsoft

I love classic music I listen to it often

I don’t however care or read or waste any of my time listening to the political noise that comes out of celebrities mouths.

That aspect is not entertaining, it’s garbage.

Never heard of him.

Maybe weren’t raised to appreciate the good in it… who knows.
And ya, I don’t wall myself off from newer music, I just feel like music in general took a cliff dive in quality. Even when looking at the pop genres.

I tend to stick to older music myself.

[I think some are already saying MJ is over-rated  ]

The best thing that Mr.Young is remembered for is being mentioned in Sweet Home Alabama.

Why not? Seems like we are getting used to old men making policy for everyone.

That’s where your wrong. I haven’t read or commented on young’s feelings on the matter or his politics.
I would have had to done that in order to develop a feeling on it and care.

I grew up with Southern Rock/Classic Rock (just called rock at the time, because there were no sub-genres of music then), and Neil Young was never in that group. He’s not a rocker like he thinks he is. The people that like him are the yuppies of the world that think they’re harder people than they are.

So this business has been out and kicked around for what, six months. Has Young had anything to say about for the last six months xor is he just now getting on this bandwagon?

I like one of his songs:

A southern man don’t need him around anyhow

Never heard of it.

What I think of when someone says “I’ve never heard of them”:

Except Joe Rogan isn’t anti-vax. Neil is just being a pompous, out-of-touch elderly man that thinks he still has clout.

A protest is usually successful when it succeeds. Only losers mumble about later events and try to connect future changes to their failed movement.

He is responsible ???

Oh god this pandemic sure brought out the whackos outta the woodwork

You lefties need to really get a grip on your fight on ‘misinformation’.
But we all should believe ‘‘science’’ right… the ones that have been shown to be bought out, silenced, shunned… yup, let’s all believe in that.

You and I have incompatible world views. Continuing to talk to me would be like trying to shove your American electrical plug into a Japanese wall socket.

Yes, because much of his audience is incompetent and are unable to think for themselves. They tune in for the same reason they go to church - so someone will tell them what to do with their lives.

Well, no.

The incompatibility between outlets and products is straightforward. You just want to duck an opposing view that you can’t rebutt.

omg, omg!!! jumping up and down! BEST music ever on Supernatural. That’s where you got your love for it? Couldn’t have had better teachers. Those guys knew there stuff. I learned more serious rock and roll, and blues, and jazz from the songs they used - stuff I missed growing up. Love the last one they used with Aesthetic Waves crossover in the finale:

That would be “you’re” not “your”.

Anyway, this is I think your fourth or fifth comment in this thread. Keep proving yourself wrong, I know you will.

I can honestly say that I’ve never been to a bar with karaoke. Where someone doesn’t sing Sweet Home Alabama.
