Apart from me not realizing it’s satire, how are ‘anti neil’ making themselves look bad. Or do you hold his vibrato typical american yankee productions to such high regard ?
I’m 32 and listen to classic rock. A lot of my favorite artist were heavily influenced by this music. I’m sure Tool wouldn’t even be a band if it wasn’t for groups like Pink Floyd and Alice Cooper, so much respect to the guys that came before them.

I’m sure no one cares what he thought, which is why his thoughts made international headlines and over 120 posts have been made about what he thinks on the World of WarCraft forums. This game is less relevant to Neil Young than golf, hunting, and D&D - which means that people on golf forums, hunting forums, and D&D forums are probably discussing Neil Young’s opinion right now, just like we are.

I like a lot of new artist but I find myself listening to the older music a lot more.
Not sure why so many in this thread are dumping on classic music. Next you’ll have people calling Michael Jackson overrated.

I used to hate Classic Rock until I watched Supernatural and now I’m hooked on some of the songs. Can’t help it. Sam & Dean make it cool.

He’s just another celebrity that wants things to fit his view, and he doesn’t care who it hurts in the process. We SHOULDN’T care what he thinks. He makes backhanded comments towards people all the time, then they give him a clap-back and he plays dumb. Not exactly the type of person that should be making policy for anyone.
