Neil Young? Opposition to Microsoft

I can offer rebuttal, but it will do no good.

No protest has ever been successful at the moment. Even MLKs protests and demonstrations were all abject failures in the moment. The change came later, and the protests, marches, and demonstrations were a huge part of why.

You obviously don’t understand that, and nothing I say will open your mind. Frankly, I don’t care if your mind remains closed, so feel free to live and die in the bliss of your own ignorance. :man_shrugging:

Is that the best retort you can come up with?

My thread count is quite high, what is your point?

I’ll post as much as I like.

What is this, six comments now?

So because someone watches a podcast and goes to church that makes them incompetent? WOW! You must be the life of parties.

I was going to post that one, but I figured non-viewers would be confused by it. Amazing cover. The series itself was just the best. 15 years wasn’t enough. It’s like the Betty White of Netflix series.

That show turned me on to House of the Rising Sun and gave me a new appreciation for Eye of the Tiger thanks to Dean’s air drumming and guitar leg.

The play the kids put on moved me to tears and endeared me to Carry On, Wayward Son, and Chuck’s rendition of Dink’s Song haunted me for weeks.

I love that series so much. I must watch it again.

Crowley was my favorite character with Dean coming in as a close second. Who was your favorite?

What? Martin Luther King was so instrumental to Civil Rights that his speeches are considered apart of American History; he has his own monument; several places around the country; and practically ended segregation by himself.

What do you mean his protests were failures in the moment? Do you even read history?

Says the guy that spreads the lie that Joe Rogan is anti-vax and would rather defend the confused mumblings of a has-been musician masquerading as a protestor.

So, why do you feel the need to be abusive to people who have a different opinion than you?

I always wondered who told Neil Young he could sing? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

This poster has a history of being very confrontational and down right abusive to people who disagree. i knew the name rang a bell somewhere, thing I don’t get is why people have to name call just because we disagree? :man_shrugging:

You mean when trained police dogs attacked his marches and cops broke people’s bones by turning firehoses on full blast to knock them down? You mean when busloads of protestors got arrested in Selma for daring to enter a “white only” restaurant?

What do you think happened? You thought MLK just strolled into town and they started sculpting statues and treating black folks right?

Come on, now. Nobody’s that much of a clown.

Nobody is saying that, and I will ask again why do you feel the need to name call?

Neil and other lady (forget her name) who’s songs have been pulled accounted for like 2 million listens a month together.

Rogan is 11 million a day. Spotify won’t even notice.

His songs amount to the best ‘misheard’ lyrics moments I think

I don’t even know how to reply to that?

There’s nothing more pretentious than a middle-aged hipster wearing a beanie indoors and looking like he just got out of bed.
