It’s not an opinion. It’s a demonstrable FACT. You looking pretty will not make you hit harder or heal more. It doesn’t affect ANY game mechanics. Literally ZERO.

They participated in the kill, they hve equal rights to the loot.
Group loot is more beneficial to casuals than personal loot was.
Nothing has changed. You lost the roll. If it wasn’t to a higher ilvl character it would have been to that guy who AFK and died after auto attacking.
This isn’t a “loot system” issue. This is a you feeling entitled issue

To be fair on that front, they do play a worgen. It’s obvious they don’t really care about looking good.

Blizzard did the easy transmog route in Legion it was nice. But since then not really. They just nerfed loot in general with group loot so I believe it’s for more sub money.
Although right now you can farm 13 tier sets from the current raid, with the harder to farm group loot I wager they aren’t interested in what transmog farmers think with the recent decision they made.
If you think cosmetics are more important than actual gearing then you’re part of the problem, and the reason behind Blizzard making the qualifier for a need roll being that it is an item level upgrade, not a cosmetic.

If people want to see priority mean something in loot rolls, they probably should raid with a guild. Random Bob over there “hitting harder”‘doesn’t help me at all once the run is over. In fact, there’s a good chance we’ll never cross paths again.

I imagine they file it under “transmogers will solo this when it’s legacy content in two expansions” and call it a day.
Which would be grand 'n all if they didn’t mess with the scaling of legacy content so often. Also if they went back and changed mechanics like the Mind Control during the Mythrax the Unraveler encounter in Uldir.

pretty much. leaving the pug/LFR world solves about 90% of all these problems.
Their stated intent on that front is that you can easily solo it on a geared character from the end of the 2nd expansion after. Mechanic adjustments to enable/facilitate soloing usually happen in the middle of the expansion (legion got them in 9.1.5 as an example), so it will happen, but not yet.

With you all the way on this. It used to be a fun part of the game to go back and solo old content for appearances, not sure what the reasoning is for changing that.

Just remember that behind nearly every “elite” player is a huge series of addons making sure they can’t make a mistake as long as they pay attention to all the notifications on their screen. Little drones pretending at being elite.

Must feel bad to know someone is better than you without relying on DBM. It’d be like losing podium to someone who isn’t using wings.
Its more like 3 expansions. Technically we should be able to solo BFA stuff. They haven’t done tuning on those sorts of raids to make them soloable or a mechanics pass.
Also… they didn’t even give legion the legacy damage buff last expansion. They really don’t care about transmog collectors/soloers it seems. The group loot changes also added drama back into lfr runs not that it needed more drama. Sigh.
I was excited to do some bfa raid farming after farming some gear but alas Mythrax is very deadly.
Especially wanted to hit the mythic raids, but for like the past 3 years it’s been just legion raids at a standstill.
Only thing you can really farm is current stuff.

It solves so much.
Ran normal the other day with a main/alt mix. The team is progressing in heroic and some of the raiders still need their set bonuses. It was stated at the beginning of the run alts would be allowed to roll on tier once it was clear no mains needed it. There would also be no mog roll unless it wasn’t needed by mains.
Then a crazy thing happened went alts and those wanting mog could roll, those who wanted to roll for mog passed it to alts who needed the upgrade/set bonus.

You repeated something off icy-veins that sounds cool, but is completely needless and not worth the cost of talents for how infrequent it can be used and how expensive it is to set up.
I mean, yeah it’s a cool tech and I’ve used it since then, but it’s needless.
