Resorting to attacks like “Your bad at PVP”. just showcases your low IQ level and lack of maturity. If your going to contribute to this thread, then please say something intelligent; or don’t bother to speak at all.
Getting back to my original statement. I think that Druids (and mounts in general that allow looting of nodes, such as the Sky-Golem) is an over convenience that aids multi-boxers and botters in general. They would not roll as Druids if this ‘loop’ was closed to them, as most bot accounts don’t want to spend extra gold on a Sky-Golem (but they would if it became the path of least resistance).
I think the Devs should look at the data internally. If this is an issue which will manifest in future areas of the game such as Shadowlands, then it probably will be a good idea to close the loophole now rather than later.
Will it suck for Druids? Indubitably, but they have plenty of other assets on the table as is so it’ll be tolerable as most nerfs usually are. People grumble, snarl and growl, and then they knuckle under and accept it.
Speaking on the PVP situation briefly, the issue deals mainly with CC and escapes in the open world. Since the escape option isn’t a concern in arenas, I’d only ask that you look at your data internally, see which comps are excelling, and if Druid is often in the top; which I believe they are.
If that is what the data shows and it’s shown to be a common factor, then consider the fact that none of the other 11 classes in game have anything remotely close to Druids, aside from perhaps Demon Hunters and Rogues.
It wouldn’t be too much of an issue if say Boomkins could ‘only’ flap, but when you add that with CC resistance; I believe it’s just a bit too much. Druids will disagree with this of course as they enjoy the benefit, but the other 11 classes are detrimented by it and their enjoyment of the game and a general sense of fairplay should be factored into the equation.
This makes me laugh, especially since it got 23 upvotes.
People using pvp or fishing bots pay a sub.
People that exploit bugs pay a sub.
Groups that sell carries for real money pay a sub.
Blizzard will ban these guys and lose thousands of dollars in subs but they won’t ban multiboxers, which are probably less than 1% of WoW’s population, because “$$$.”
Much sense, very logic How about they don’t ban multiboxers because the software they use isn’t a bot program and having more than one account isn’t a crime.
I remember just how hard Black Lotus was to find also. But that doesn’t mean it was good for the game. I get that mats shouldn’t be unlimited, but they really dropped the ball on the Nazjatar herbs.
Full marks for finding a way to twist a thread about bots - that was already sideways since it kept trying to equate botters with multiboxers - into a rant about nerfing Druids.
Multiboxing might be fine, But i think its silly to say your not cheating in some way when you need program to make it work…Can only imagine that this program is somehow coping your keystrokes and sending them to other clients.
but its not cheating cause their is no automation macros
If there was healthy competition driving the prices downward, this would be true. However, prices on the herbs seem to be fixed, which would imply that one person is cornering the market or multiple players have agreed to keep the price of herbs at a fixed point.
Neither option is good: I believe these sorts of practices would be considered illegal, if not unethical, in the real world.
