Then you are level 80 and have the gear necessary which most in this thread have agreed does not mean full bis in any way.
There will be people that insist on that and it’s the sort of play to which the OP was refering. You’ve got yours and your raid groups will be required to have put in “effort”. That’s fine your group your rules.
You however inserted yourself into a side convo between two players talking about their own issues with regard to leveling. Saying or implying they are making excuses is just sort of pointless and appears to be posturing. My attempts to point out the futility of your pursuit of making your alphaness the focus was lost on you.

Clearly you glossed over the whole conversation and only cherry picked things I said out of context.
The side conversations being had that I was replying to were, “Server queues stopped me from leveling”, yeah nothing one can do about that. Blizzard dropped the ball there.
And “Adulting is why I’m only level 73”.
To that I pointed out getting to level 73, if you’re trying to do it efficiently, is only a 4 hour task.
THen after that somebody said only no lifers have a level 80 and pre raid BiS. To that I replied that’s not true either.
I get it, you want to insert yourself in and white knight for people. Fantastic, you do you. But try not taking conversations out of context next time, or at least read the entire thread before jumping in the middle of a conversation.

You can doubt all you want. Just because you fail to balance work/life/play in an effective way, don’t mean we all have those issues.
Hey man I’ve been trying but I don’t have the gold to afford the crafted helm and I have literally never seen the helms from the Nexus or Gundrak drop 
whose ready for more self victimization in game where you can make your own groups and solve your own problems xD

in few days Naxx requirements will be…
Group maker: “link achievment or you won’t get invited”
players: how am i supposed to link achievment if i haven’t done the raid yet.
Group maker: “go buy gold to get a spot in gdkp runs so you can link achievment”
but anyway…do you people have pug raids on your server? faerlina is only filled with gdkp’s, there are already like 15gdkp for naxx in next 5days, most gdkp requirement will be “how much gold do you have?”
I had 2 or 3 pieces of my TBC raid gear in Naxx back then. Stats were decent (but I had like 12k health.)

he also just said bis though, not prebis. I think they implied meaning is they think everyone will decline them if they aren’t in full naxx gear

You know what you changed my mind. I’m sure youre leveling your 2nd or 3rd 80 alt while working 50hr/week right after the expansion launched. All while being family man of the year. I tip my hat to you.
In a more serious answer god damn it I need one of those helms I’m like 15 defense rating off from being uncrittable and the rng is really starting to piss me off…

I had to go with Essence of Gossamer out of normal HoL to get over Def cap. Even with full BiS unless I completely gemmed def and enchanted Def I was going to be under by like 3 or 4.
