The good news is just going through it once will get you a crap ton of the Relics you can turn in for 550, and the honored enchant is not much worse than the exalted one. So you should be okay.
The level of elitists that classic is turning into is depressing. Nax is going to be one of the easiest raids. Literal quest greens are enough. Anyone saying otherwise just wants to feel special that they got their pre raid Bis. Or they’re so bad they need everyone to have gear to run nax

No you don’t but why would a raid leader take a dk who does 20% less dps because of gear when he can select one who has gear
You guys never seem to understand this. We aren’t gatekeeping because the content is hard we are doing it because we want a 2 hour Naxx and not a 5 hour Naxx.
You guys always assume it’s because of gatekeeping.

My RNG has been crap for gear but it doesn’t matter. I’ll use what I need for the stuff I haven’t gotten yet.
I’m looking forward to raiding Naxx 25 with my guild of 3 years where we will probably spend a lot of time talking about the old days of Naxx 40, the changes, and old guildies.
It should be a really good time and I’m looking forward to it.

Even with really bad RNG, you’re still obviously doing heroics and still got upgrades to your gear. BiS is not needed, and somebody who has put in teh time, and just got unlucky are generally good enough at their class, and have enough 2nd or 3rd best options in their gear slots to not be a weight sinking the ship.

well duh but what i’m saying is you don’t need FULL pre bis in order to do naxx and I highly doubt every single person or even majority of pugs are going to want you full pre bis.
Not a single person on here said you need full pre BiS. My argument was simply that full pre raid BiS is easy to get.
What we did say however is put in SOME work to get gear upgrades. Enchant your gear, gem your gear, don’t expect a carry. It’s as simple as that.
BiS isn’t needed until gear check…

Tanks are the only ones that should be looking to hit gearing breakpoints. 540 defense so you cant be crit, and hit and expertise so you can actually hit to build threat and can actually do your job.
Dps should just be looking to being able to hit the target. Outside of that no one should care, no one should be saying how easy something is to get (I dont buy the whole 50+ hour a week job, going to all these family functions and being able to do all the other stuff that is being pushed as a requirement because “its so easy”, that whole thing is a big red flag) or anything else when there are still queue times, and a bunch of other stuff going on.
When in Wrath people would check me with gearscore and say “oh you arent up to snuff” and I would say go find someone else then but they would still take me. No, you dont need BiS or even close to BiS in wrath. Just hit the important stats. Defense, spell hit, melee hit/expertise and go have fun.

Also, on my server there are no queue times, and it’s never had one that i know of. It’s why my guild transfered here off Benediction.

50+ hours a week leaves you with very little time to do other stuff. Thats at least 10 hours a day, then you are also adding in family functions, probably hanging out with people in real life as well and when do you sleep exactly?
Im saying its a red flag, learn to see what people are actually typing out and not what you want to see for some ego boost that you want to give yourself. Thats all this looks like and its not a good trait to flaunt.

Yeah but it’s a moral issue. You can easily clear it in quest gear but you don’t deserve to because you’re a filthy, dirty, casual ;p

No you said, and I quote. “I don’t buy it”, basically accusing me of being a liar. So maybe type what you mean rather than just word vometing stuff on the forums.
Assuming you sleep 6 to 7 hours a night, and I generally require less than that, leaves you with plenty of time to eat, spend time with the family, and STILL have enough time to grind some gear providing you’re not going at a snales pace.
Like I said just because YOU can’t manage to do it. It does not mean that others can’t. I leveled VERY fast, i was about less than 30 minutes off of my server first 80.
And my guild started farming heroics on the 3rd day wrath was out. It does not take long to get to that point, you can do heroics in greens. It only took 2 full world tours for my pally to be 100% geared minus the weapon out of Heroic UP.
The world tour takes us roughly 3 to 3.5 hours a night to finish. So a total of 7 hours AFTER i hit 80 and I was fully geared minus the weapon.
7 hours at 80 out of 60 POTENTIAL hours based on work, sleep, family time… is not that much. just over 10% of my FREE time was dedicated to playing.
