Nathanos pre patch cinematic (spoilers)

Yeah, we know. Because you and your ilk are still whining.

No one said it had to be, it’s only a start because, gasp it’s the pre-patch.

Nope, Blizzard does. Horde didn’t make this cinematic.

The story isn’t over yet.

See above.

Oh and obligatory “dont feed the Night elf female posters”, they will never be satisfied until they can literally eat sylvanas in real life which itself is an impossibility because at most you could probably download her on a disk or a server or something, but eating that is absurd.

The players that have unrealistic expectations.

Some of this Nathanos hate is borderline pathological, if they gave us the sadist crap some of you are asking for this fight would’ve been boring asf.

Did she really behead him if his corpse is still intact ingame though?

The expansion where we get to obliterate Night Elf souls, or the one where Sylvanas gets a redemption according to blizz and probably 3 more cinematics while Tyrande is in danger of dying?

Of course we are, you’d be a fool if you thought that everyone would be happy with this

Then stop posting that we should be satisfied, and that pre patch is all the Night Elves CAN get in the first place unless there’s another faction war. Sylvanas is not getting touched.

And blizz decided to just spite Night Elf players and openly mock them as often as possible while also ignoring their need for revenge or resolution

Sylvanas is not dying, she’s not even evil, and Tyrande got her revenge.

I have watched this for long enough and now I’m calling bullsh*t

The WoW fanbase is way too emotionally invested in this terrible world and story for its own good. They treat fictional pixels like Sylvanas and Nathanos like SS war criminals that personally killed their family.

hard disagree i lay the entire blame on the writers.

she committed genocide and is currently sending innocent souls to a horrific afterlife of torment. Thats like saying sargeras isn’t evil.

You know, I’m still trying to find where Blizz stated this. Citation please because I sure as hell can’t find anything about any sort of redemption accept on these forums by posters like you

Garrosh did nothing wrong.

You’ll never find it. The inevitable end point of these types of people is just that they run out of real things to be mad about so they make up their own delusions.

It’s actually pretty sad in a way. What is it about WoW that causes this?

They will only be satisfied once the power fantasy is reasserted. The one BfA infringed upon.

The one where the NEs alone are portrayed as more powerful than the entire Horde combined, which Tyrande’s power here does not do enough to do.

its hyperbole based on a quote from someone that said tht sylvanas isnt evil combined with the fact that kerrigan was redeemed at the end of SC2.

its a defeatist attitude since nelf fans really dont have much hope for the story.

I’m not telling you whether it’s a satisfying revenge or not. I’m pointing out that many night elves were outraged that Tyrande didn’t destroy Nathanos at their first fight, and when she does actually destroy him, you still aren’t happy.

And the only reason really for that is, per Shadowlands lore, dead doesn’t necessarily mean dead. So now you’re (re: players that think this way) upset and moving the goalpost to something like “Oh well Nathanos should have had his soul obliterated because killing him is what he wants”.

So I’ll reiterate: There’s just no pleasing some people.

I am 100% sure you meant “Where one NE Child is portrayed stronger than the entire Horde and Alliance Combined”

Nathanos is unbothered because Sylvanas dumped him. At this point, he thinks death is a mercy for him. Little does he know the plans the Jailer has for him…

.
What? I can tinfoil hat when I want.

Well, nathanos does share his Voice with ALOT of maw guys.

I really think it is sad that the Teldrassil event has given so many night elf fanatics PTSD or something alike that. I mean that is what I gather from how important it is to them.

Not a bad angle tbh. Nate has failed her several times, just as her bulwark did before she bailed on them. It wouldn’t be shocking if he ceased to be of sufficient enough value as a tool not to discard. Combine that with the fact that its entirely plausible that “Using as an unwitting tool, than discarding” is what the Jailor is doing with Sylvanas … there is something thematic about that.

Nate gets discarded, reinforcing what Sylvie has beeing doing since WC3; and then the Jailor betrays and discards Sylvanas once he’s used her as much as he needs … giving her a bit of long overdue karma. Give her a taste of her own medicine, and really sink in with that “the steps she took to avoid her fate, are the very ones that condemned her to it”. Classic Greek style.
