Probably because they got the majority of the names they wanted during the three releases.

I’d agree with you specifically if you weren’t the thread’s biggest contributor for the problem you’re referring to. If you wanted to offload names in some ‘noble’ way, you’d do what the other people on here do that actually care about that - you can let people know that names are available (which I’m sure they get picked up asap to be resold anyway) or you can reserve them yourself to give away for free regardless. Because at least then, you can say you did it for a good cause even if it was taken advantage of, not profit in the process and still take some form of advantage. But you alone have the potential to profit more than anyone else on this thread even at the cheap rates you claim to sell. There’s well over 100 names being held onto between you and your girlfriend. It really doesn’t matter how much a person sells a name for, that’s their prerogative entirely. Some people value names at a low price, others value it at a higher price, and it doesn’t really matter what the name in question is, either. I don’t see the necessity in trying to take the high road when you need several accounts to even hold the names you’re advertising for on 1 server alone. Hope this helps!

Don’t come at me when you don’t know all the facts, man. People literally scan these threads and swipe up names the moment people say they’re free. I have traded many names for free, just because someone said they wanted them and they weren’t one of the people you’re actually trying to attack–I have spent the past week giving away names to guildies, and the like as well.
My girlfriend’s list and my list are completely separate. I only listed her’s because she was nervous to do so herself. I don’t know why you think it matters that I would have to have two accounts. I have always had two accounts. There is nothing barring me from doing so, and it’s convenient for me.
I’m not trying to take the high road, I’m just trying to say that I think it sucks that some people are selling names for so much, when most names aren’t worth more than 100k at the very most. Perhaps you should be charitable and give away some names too.

If I was to sell or trade any of my names, I think I would be most worried about someone snagging it for low because I would not ask for a crazy price, only to turn around and sell it to someone else for an outraging price. I see names here for sale that after a while resurface from someone else, but for a much higher price tag than originally asked for.

I never said I wasn’t selling names for profit, that’s a majority of the reason, kind of like most other people here. It’s simply weird to say you’re selling them for cheap to prevent scalpers from picking them up and selling them for more. It’s also weird to defend someone that’s claiming they’re being attacked while attacking others through the high road they’re trying to deny taking. “I just got this box of food from the food drive for free, now other people can’t take it and sell the items for retail prices or more. Some of it I’m gonna give away for free as well, but most of it I’m just gonna sell to those in need anyway instead of also giving it to them for free!

So you’re going to attack someone else for doing the same thing, but because they want it cheaper that somehow is going to effect your prices. My brother in undeath it’s not that serious. But you do you and try not to say Someone is a Problem because you might loose out on some gold. Buy a token.

This is your post from the other day where you complained that people are reserving names to make big gold. So if one person reserves 10 names to sell @ 1m each, and another reserves 100 names to sell at 100k each, aren’t we still facing the same problem here? I’m not worried about actually selling names, I just sell what’s there to sell. But yea, it really isn’t that deep, and that’s kind of the point. Getting the ‘ick’ from people doing exactly what you’re doing is giving me the ‘ick.’
You’re missing the part where I am mainly referring to those that are from servers that aren’t Moon Guard posting on the Moon Guard name thread, which is where the topic originated. But, I guess you didn’t read that either.

Let’s all be clear here, you all collect names, I collect names; yes people want profit but the fact of the matter is no name is worth 3mil, it’s like people who want 5k for a guild sign for a charter.

Oh, well damn, I guess I did miss the entire point. It’s only a problem when people from other servers do it, not when you do it on the server you’re on. No, I get it now. I apologize, I can be a goofball sometimes! Happy selling!
