I could be wrong about this, but Iām pretty sure people use alt codes usually because their name spelled normally is taken.
Tewaās suggestion is cool but Iām still going with mine.
alt codes either add the ā¦s the ~s above letters but certain characters like -s and 's cant be done with alts

Of course people are gonna make troll names. You canāt stop it.
Even now without special characters or spaces people find ways to do it.
Adding two more characters to the list of valid characters (space and ā ) wouldnāt change much, and neither would a slight increase in name length

My only real gripe with special characters and āaltā codes is itās a real pain to look someone up on the armory that has a bunch of special characters/āaltā codes in the name. Just a minor annoyance more than anything else.
Especially if youāre not in the game (where you can simply right-click them) and trying to look them up just from memory: āoh that big pumper from that bg last night? the dude with 62 million damage? whatās his setup look like?ā - then you remember he had a bunch of special characters in his name, and are unable to look him up 
On the other hand, someone with a ānormalā name pulls right up on the armory.

Actually, no you canāt. Just because something happens in-game doesnāt mean the players can do it without violating the ToS or the forum code of conduct.
If you want kindess you should act like you desever it your jerky excuses showed you do not desever kindness
they have no right to have that in their tos its hypocritcal when they use insults in the story and they should feel ashammed of being hypocirtics

to talk about yes because its a fantasy world and this is a fantasy forum for that fantasy world its not the real world ā¦ and someone calling you a name isnāt doing anything to you sticks and bones may break your bones but words are nothing
