If I remember right when the beams come out, they are telegraphed on the floor. As soon as they go active they the tank exploded dealing like 70% of your hp. This is a mechanic
This has been addressed multiple times, the tank gets hit massively there and if you aren’t at complete full HP you just die. That’s stupid.
I feel the game is what you make it. I had a sense of FOMO in SL and DF s1-3 and at s4 I’m like “let the kids run I just want my mount before TWW comes” mindset.
But also I saw a Quazii video where he interviewed top players it’s really mind opening. He said those who clear high 20+s don’t have the elite attitude people misconstrue for the top 1% they really want to help. They got to that point thru networking and developing relationships. These players like to help. He said even thru pugs it’s a waste of time to blame people when mistakes happen. “Players don’t go in M+ saying I’m going to brick this key”. So be more tolerant for mistakes.
Fun is subjective.
Beam also hits if you Demonic Circle: Teleport to avoid it.
Or at least it was when I ran it last. Really dumb.
Check out the WME discord. I am sure you have seen WME groups pop up in the M+ queue. They are the greatest thing to happen to the M+ circuit. You just need to find a dungeon listed in the queue on discord, get the password, find the corresponding dungeon in the group finder, enter the password in the comments, and you almost always get invited. The community in general is above average players and it helped me push several chars above 2k for the season with minimal effort.
It also helps cut back on abandoned keys as all WME groups are for completion unless stated otherwise in the queue. So it can help you milk a few extra points where as the time would just be wasted with a random group that abandons the key after a wipe or something. Groups fill fast also.
This point exactly. The ego of some of these high performing players that aren’t in the top 1% but maybe the top 5-2% is absurd, and they just like to troll on everyone else.
OBVIOUSLY. However, you can take objective measures of the average fun people are having in your game through engagement and total playtime. These numbers can’t look good for them, they need to analyze their data and reverse course.
KSM is definitely harder this season. There’s also more options for grinding gear outside of dungeons. I don’t feel the gear is quite good enough for the effort relative to other content. It probably should be bumped 10 ilevels.
Whiny dps need to learn to tank and heal instead of complaining about their tanks and healers given how much additional effort is required for those roles. DPS is like a vacation when I swap to that role.
You can measure my work attendance the same way but it’s not going to tell you that I’m having fun at work.
Get a job you love, that way you never work a day in your life.
Agreed!
Mythic + should be removed from game. I would rather see the time used to balance mythic + used to make more upward progressive dungeons. Doing the same stuff over and over sux. Same with raids.
Do you really not understand how this analogy fails completely? No one would keep working if they could afford not to, because they all hate their bs busy work jobs. Literally 90% of the workforce doesn’t like their job.
This however is a VIDEO GAME. No one has to play to live, therefore if they are voluntarily here it probably means they are having a good time. Duh.
Hot take lol, I disagree.
People have been complaining since the BfA beta about content being designed to make pugging harder.
I watched a video by Bellular last night, where he and his sidekick were basically celebrating how pugs and players who used to do low keys are now relegated to pointless unrewarding chores. And the content is now where it belongs, strictly for elites with fixed groups.
They think mythic+ should be the kind of “job” you like doing so much you would dedicate your life to it, even if you weren’t being paid.
Any key below 8 should be faceroll by pugs
If you apply this mind set to M+, I promise you will get better and be able to time +9s and +10s even if M+ is not nerfed like you are asking for. In fact, I see you already timed two +9s so you are not even that far off.
Yes, +9s and +10s are not faceroll. So, you will need some practice and preparation, especially for the more challenging dungeons. But, they are not so difficult that you need such massive nerfs. Don’t sell yourself short.
If you truly enjoy learning and progging in mythic raids, you can do the same in M+.
You must be in a wrong game then.
I am. I have quit multiple times.
… with upgraded gear. It’s just the 4th week. We need more Vault loots. Most of our slots are not 619 yet.
WoW will live without you.
