EXACTLY!! This person gets it.
There are several of us who ONLY raid AOTC and only have keys to push beyond that since we’re not in guilds who do mythic. This was our only path to progression.
Also, once I got my portals, I went back to just doing my eight “8’s” a week for vault and now I can’t do that since I gotta do 10s each week.
I agree with the OP; the progression system is borked. They need to bring back myth track gear in vault from 8’s…not requiring 10s each week.
You know what I sure do love? Spending about 30 minutes running a mythic + getting all the way to the end and getting a very MEASLEY amount of gold for my effort. I have run 6 dungeons in a row, and not gotten a SINGLE piece of gear, you know what I do get? 54 gold. I could get more than that vendoring grey trash items. That’s what makes mythic + not fun for me.
Blizzard needs a Ubisoft moment. Heck they still have not fixed the static flight bug. That affects hundreds of thousands of players. BOY they was quick to fix the bugs in world first race. Blizzard priorities are wacked again, just like in Shadowlands.
An MMO is all about helping people. You don’t start out with all of the knowledge just because you’re “skilled.” You learn it by practicing or getting tips from communicating with others. You do realize that there are people who created the resources you use, like weakauras, addons, and guides, to help everyone, right? Having a hate for inexperienced players is so cringe.
what you been under a rock its been broken for months its the Otterworldly Ottuk only will be summed when you use summon random favorite and if you dont have the mount it will only summon a ground mount. Months latter still bugged since dragonflight. GG blizz.
This is why I wouldn’t answer the troll, even when it a legit question. This DipS… always comes backs with some dumb take. Its not about mount collectors. People pay real money for mounts and a sub. Blizzard doesn’t respect their paying customers anymore. Even if its 0.01% that’s more players than was in the world first race.
I usually do my M+ stuff pretty early. I don’t think the content is impossible, but it’s in a place where I don’t feel like healing pugs anymore, and that’s never been an issue for me in the past.
Gearing seems pretty easy right now. I’ve only been back to the game for at most 2 weeks. I haven’t stepped into heroic raid at all yet, and here I am sitting in 4 pc heroic tier. The rest of my gear is lacking, but I’m still making it work.
While I don’t mind teaching newer people, perhaps the +8 Grim Batol is not the place for it. Just saying.
Because it kinda is. A bad or squishy tank that doesn’t understand that place is the only major brick factor. Hint: Anima slash trucks.
There are Youtubers, streamers, etc, that certainly provide a lot of information on how to deal with these dungeons. It’s good for them to know what’s up before jumping into the frying pan.
Week 1 of the season I tanked a 8 Mists at around 595-600. I do not expect any fresh tank to even have a chance of that. The fact I had the knowledge of running that place way too many times over the Shadowlands seasons, yeah.
Anyways, what I will say when it comes to playing with anchors is this: As a Tank, you feel it any time someone is sandbagging. You’re either having to blow defensives you don’t usually need to. Struggling to survive big pulls means either the dps is low and things are not dying fast or people just don’t know what to kick or all kick the same thing.
I agree with this, but like I said earlier perhaps the 8 or 9 Stonevaults is not the place for that.
This is 100% true. When I’m spam running +7 SV, some groups are an absolute breeze while others are complete hassles.
It’s hilarious because I do the same pulls every run because it’s efficient for my defensive CDs and the DPS’s CDs. Some runs, I’m running on empty and eye-balling my defensives to come back up before I die because of how long the pulls/encounters are lasting from a pure lack of DPS and/or because no one is interrupting.
I’ve noticed that it’s only the bad groups that:
Try to gaslight my route. They 100% of the time try to call it MDI pulling when it’s only 2-3 packs.
Try to blame me for them dying because they took a major hit from avoidable damage that lead to an unavoidable damage actually killing them.
This doesn’t mean much. KSM is a participation award that 40% of characters who step into M+ get.
Hi! I noticed you replied to me within a single minute of posting. Incredible. The fact is, I am not tanking pugs anymore, that’s a net loss for the players and blizz.
I am sorry my KSM comment triggered you so much, if you want, you can check my profle to see when i got it in each season, then judge me about if it was an early or late KSM, then you can look at the few portals I went for. Might I just say, I was super dissapointed in you when I checked your profile only to see +5s and +7s being done, you talk a big talk for never touching 10s.
What does this have to do with anything? I was already responding to Osa when I saw your post and added it to my reply. You think I’m stalking you because I replied quickly after you posted?
I don’t think anyone will notice.
Triggered? I made a simple statement saying that KSM isn’t anything to brag about. You bringing it up doesn’t add any value to your stance/opinions.
If you are trying to leverage KSM in your arguments, I have no need to dig any further.
I’m currently farming for trinkets. Was doing 5-7s in like 605 ilvl. If I wanted to push I could, but I would rather wait to get rid of my Heroic Dungeon trinket.
I am curious as to why you think this season is good and why you think having less people engage in core endgame content (they used to) is also a good thing. Enlighten me.
The crests drop (and where they drop) and the forced cap on crests (any other currency) seriously hurts my game time.
Some weeks I can only play for 2 hours (our raid night window) and other weeks I have every evening free - but it’s moot when everything is capped and unable to advance.
I like the game, been playing it forever, but I’m honestly getting frustrated with the time commitment and constraints (the artificial seasons that force players to have the mind set of hurry up and get it while it’s here) is not how originally WoW was offered.
I like running M+. I no longer like feeling like I have a race to get portals (for keys I’ve already done but portals hadn’t existed yet - Siege, still hate that key).
