Mythic Plus is harder AND less rewarding, in other words simply NOT FUN

If you run 6 hours of raid and 6 hours of m+ at 20 mins a run clearing each, you would have 40 pieces of loot to possibly get from the raid with 20 players or on average 2/5 × 18 or 7 pieces from m+ pug.

It’s not hard. You’re just not getting hard carried by a resto druid doing the affixes for you while they and the tank interrupt every cast and you watch anime on the second monitor.

A lot of DPS are getting exposed for genuinely being bad and not knowing how to play their class and use their toolkit. I’m not sure I’ve seen a mage decurse below a 7.

If they included m+0 and heroic dungeons in stats, we would have may be a 700% increase.

I think the system would work fine if not making time didn’t deplete the key until it reaches +7. If you want to lower your key, throw it away and get a new one.

I just feel like I’m wasting my time in M+, spinning my wheels up to +4 before early leavers and bad parties float me back down to +2, and all the while only getting a chance to maybe pick up some loot that’s roughly the same as what’s at the end of a Delve that I can do easily and not weep if someone ghosts or DCs.

I should just give up and step into other people’s +5s but I am stubborn as tauren like that.

You are trying so hard to set these “conditions” in order to make your argument work. Regardless, it didn’t change the fact that raid are once a week and M+ is as many times as a person can and wants to.

So if you clear the raid in 3 hours where are the other 3 hours of raiding going?

Learn how to make groups.

The next raid tier of course. If you can clear Mythic raid in 3 hours, you probably need to spend the next 3 hours outside.

the “conditions” are an example of the time a player might play. Providing the details of how a player might spend their time in the game is important in understanding how loot will actually be earned in separate forms of content, rather than the fact someone can play 90 hours a week in m+ and get rewards for it. The rewards still do not equal top tier gear excluding the vault, which is still one item per week.

this season really started to pissed me off. I can’t make my own group to do a 7+ without having bad players killing my key and can’t get into a group because I am not part of a meta group. I never felt so angry for a stupid game in a long while.

Which again is irrelevant. That’s a personal limitation. We are talking about systemic limitations. Raid are once a week lock outs. M+ is infinitely spammable.

We will have to just agree to disagree then. Just because a systemic limitation doesn’t exist doesn’t mean there isn’t a limitation in one form or another.

Game is completely UNFUN with this level of difficulty. I would literally rather play anything else…and you know what? I WILL.

So, back in TBC before resilience gear or even cross server pvp. Imagine queuing into Warsong gulch and seeing A full group of Alliance server first raid guild in full raid gear, while you had your pvp blues. While I was on the Alliance side and had a lot of fun. I highly doubt the horde had much fun getting spawn camped or our tank being unkillable with the flag.
There is a good reason they made the gear different.

Cancelled my sub, getting AOTC and bouncing until 11.1 where I’ll come see if it’s still bad. M+ was the reason I played during the week, it was fun to fill my vault with Mythic gear and then slowly level it up over the season, the changes to M+ have pretty much made me raid log.

No its not, lol the first 4 on mythic are easier than PUGing 9+ M+s lol, delusional mythic raider who doesnt even understand the difficulty ramp normal players are hit by this xpac probably because you’ve always pushed 25+ anyways, so you don’t even have a concept of why people are complaining this season.

How would it be fun to heal? And regarding unavoidable damage: If there would be no unavoidable damage you as a healing would be loosing your job.

Force 1:1:3 comps, make healing easier. Healing pugs right now is giga miserable and needs something done.

Back then I used to be watch ~15min guides, were enough to time a key, now I have to watch +40min for mechs and a other 30min to see the same class that i’m playing cuz tankbusters (each dungeon), and makes more frustating if I fail.

I don’t understand why they keep designing dungeon harder than DF after a successful S3. It was friendly for alts.

It really sucks that end-game systems just feel like they purposefully designed them to essentially keep most players on the treadmill for longer. It is like they felt they went “too easy” for DF and everyone was done gearing their mains and quitting within a month. Now everything has been artificially extended: significantly harder dungeons (with some seriously poor tuning STILL), longer myth track, gilded crests at higher keys than DF…etc.

Classic Blizzard overcorrections to please the shareholders. I’m always fine with more challenge, but M+ is pretty miserable right now and I used to love it. I don’t even want to play it much at the moment…
