Mythic Eonar the Life-Binder Antorus Skip

I know it can be done, but I do admit that I struggle with this one as well

The key is that there is a specific number of enemies to kill before going up to the ship. each enemy death fills an energy bar, when the energy bar hits 100% the aoe casts to kill all active enemies. When you kill the exact amount and go up to the ship, it casts the aoe, and there are still enough enemies alive that it fills the bar for an additional aoe cast. If you killed extra enemies, the energy is wasted, you don’t get the extra cast and Eonar dies.
That is what the guides are trying to tell you.

The fact that this still isn’t nerfed is hilarious. How hard would it be to make her health x10 or whatever.

It’s a rough fight, but you only need to complete it four times for the quest: Antorus, the Burning Throne: Dark Passage.

This fight can definitely be solo’d now, it’s still not easy, but I was able to do it after a few tries on this character just a few days ago.

One tip I can offer that helped me, is after you kill the first stationary giant fel robot thing, use the boss specific ability to leap ALL THE WAY to the other platform right above Eonar. Use it once to fly up as high as you can, and then use it again to leap down to the ramp that leads up to the platform where the second one is.

You should essentially be using the boss specific ability to do just about all of your movement around the boss arena, nothing else is faster.

Save your movement speed cooldowns and pots for the teleporter rooms where you have to disable the four nodes, do the bottom/southern ones first, also you dont have to channel them, just click them once and move on.

The fact that this still doesn’t have a skip is how you know that Blizzard is a cold and uncaring God and that our cries fall on deaf ears.

It does have a skip though…Once you clear the place like 4 times or so

I have to agree, this is super annoying. The thing is, she doesn’t even have to have a skip. Just make it so you can do the rest of the raid without having to fight her and it’s not a problem.

100% a skip is needed at this point. Been trying to do this on the dk but Eonar just keeps getting wrecked. Way too pissed trying this over and over just for mounts/mog…

I agree , just make it so it bypasses eonar so you dont need it to do the rest of the raid

Mini bump to add my annoyance that there’s still no skip to this. I don’t have the mythic skip quest finished unfortunately so I’m essentially stuck after Hasabel. I know it can be done, but I have a difficult time achieving it. I don’t feel like it’s necessary this many years later to have to do this.

I’ll add that mythic kil’jaden needs a nerf as well.

Biggest Legion raid fix needed is Kil’jaeden - Eonar is a distant second. Especially since you don’t even need to go up to the ship more than once now…

Is KJ not burnable before he starts darkness phase on mythic?

Edit: I ran in there out of curiosity and yeah Mythic KJ just falls over, you have to deal with intermission knock backs but that’s not really difficult even without movement speed.

This seriously needs a skip. The whole dungeon is trivial now and there is no reason that this fight should be such a headache when people are only there for the mount

Gonna put my 2 copper on here too. Fight needs that doomsday mechanic removed if it’s being ran solo.

Entering my 2 copper as well. Ship attack needs to go, her health needs a major increase, the mobs need to do far less damage to her or the number of times she needs to attack decrease. Yes, people say there is a guide, but if people need to follow one, that just shows she is still not easy. She is a tight speed dependent fight with need for aoe and some classes have a hard time with that in one way or another. I want to be able to farm her for tmog in TWW, but at this point it will not be possible.

This. They’ve proven they can do this sort of thing with the Hellfire Assault boss in WoD and it solved the problem instantly. I know the ship mechanic is a separate issue but from what I’ve heard from people stuck on this fight the real problem is Eonar dying too quickly. Just attach “Eonar takes 90% less damage or w/e” to the legacy loot flag.

How can I keep foul steps from doing me in? I’ve got the ship down pat but for some reason, I just drop dead. Also, I haven’t been able to just skip the second ship phase and finish the encounter. This is insane. I’ve watched every video, read every reddit post. I consider myself an average player who does know how to follow directions. I’m just not understanding how this is 100% a roadblock to farming the rest of the raid for transmog.

I try it a few times when I go there on mythic, attempting to follow a video guide, then go do something more fun after i fail. I wouldn’t mind clearing it though if they wver make it easier. It’s just not worth the effort of trying it a dozen or more times, might as well go do current raids at that point.

You only go up to the ship once. If you’re going twice you’re doing it wrong.

For those struggling think of the fight as having fail points instead of something you just kinda float around doing and hoping it dies, and use the wings as often as possible.

Start the fight at the ent, kill everything that spawns until first annihilator, after annihilator dies kill a few more adds spawns then get to the top most platform for the next annihilator.

Fail point 1) if you’re taking too long to get there and the annihilator is attacking Eonar, refine your route until you’re killing it as it spawns(USE THE SLIPSTREAMS/WINGS).

After the 2nd annihilator dies, drop straight down and kill any adds that came from the first spawn, and the other adds coming around from the other walkway, the portals spawn, but you don’t go to the ship until Eonar procs her giant AE that kills everything(This procs from killing adds) this is Fail Point 2, if you take too long to proc the AE you’re wasting ship time(Again, use the slipstreams/wings)

Fail point 3) soon as she does her giant AE use wings and go up to ship portal, kill add, use wings to get to the crystals, use em on CD to get to the Crystals asap, if you take too long, you die, pretty straight forward.

Fail point 4) get off ship after clicking all 4 crystals(Try to make the red crystal the last one you click), get to next annihilator, if you take too long it’ll nuke Eonar, you die.

After that you really don’t have a ton more fail points. The biggest part is not going back up to the ship, and more importantly the Legion summons flying units at one point, you want to stagger your add kills so that when Eonar uses her next big AE she hits those fliers, that should end the encounter before the next Final Countdown from the ship kills you. You don’t need to go back up to the ship. If you mess up the timing and the fliers aren’t hit by her AE, you can still win/adjust by focusing them down as they fly around the room, and also killing any remaining adds running around.
