My wife and I cancelled our subs today... her reason is better than mine

And collectors  don’t forget us, I spend more time in legacy content than I do in current content.

I love going back and collecting old junk, myself - but I still think it’s a bit sad that I can’t experience a lot of that content as intended anymore. Even if I want to.

If I could get current resources even at a vastly decreased rate to now, by doing older stuff, I absolutely would. Variety is the spice of life!

Yeah, I had the same problem. I wanted to see all of BFA story. But you really can’t in chromie time unless you stop your experience gain. And even then, you won’t be able to do the raids to see that story.

That’s cool about eso. Maybe I should go see some of the story.

You mean you don’t like being one-shot by 227 players?

I cancelled my sub the day before yesterday. You guys are going to have to put up with me until April 3rd.

Let’s face it they sucked the fun right out of the game.

Just not the way the game is designed and that would honestly be a balancing nightmare.

But it old content. I not want old content level scale up to maximum level or scale down to it level. I not like games like that. Chromie at least give choice. Just stop experience when 49.

Wives aren’t pets. We wanna hear her side of the story.

True, and back in BfA, Timewalking gear without azerite traits would occasionally hurt your overall power too

This is a deal breaker for me. What really drives a game like WoW is progression. When Blizzard started making every zone scale to match you it kind of killed a lot of my joy in playing the game. You don’t feel like you are getting stronger when you go back to that rabid boar that used to torment you at level 20 and he still torments you at level 50.

It makes you feel like no matter where you go or what you do it will always be the same. You aren’t really making progress, you are just button mashing a rotation in a combat system designed 20 years ago to run on awful computers with terrible internet connections.

By the end of BFA Timewalking dropped gear for 5 slots you would never want to equip.
Head, Shoulder, Chest, Neck and finally Cloak in 8.3.
So many temporary powers now long gone.

In terms of wanting to do end game progress in all expansions, I don’t see that working ever.
What I would like to see is a polished and fun leveling experience.
Instead different classes get key abilities at what feels like randomly selected levels and tend to play very poorly at lower levels without enough secondary stats.

Oh yes yes yes this is my ultimate wish for WoW. Let all of the content available as endgame not just the last expansion. Chromie time in dungeons and raids for the collectors except for newly released content.

I would absolutely love if I could choose where to experience the game and still progress my character casually.

As it sits right now, I don’t really like playing Shadowlands stuff. I completely enjoy the 1-50 experience though, but absolutely hate the 51-60 experience.

I honestly just liked the long leveling because it gave me more practice learning to tank and heal on whatever character I was being. And I got to see so much more content the old way as well.

The new leveling system really just throws out a decade of content. But I want to see that content. I want to complete those dungeons.

Chromie time should let max level players sync to any expansion and do those questlines and dungeons at that level. Max level players should be able to queue for a random “Chromie time dungeon” that would reward some sort of relevant endgame currency so that groups could always be full across all expansions.

Why exactly does he care what the forum thinks? No one is posting on the internet to have a conversation or gain respect.

I mean, especially THIS forum. I mean, my god, look at the lowlifes on here. One or two may actually be worse than I am.

I prefer people post on their non-player toons. Makes you focus on their topic, not their Ilvl.

Of course it is. Old content that scales and gives appropriate gear.

All it would take is some fine tuning of max level difficulty and a reward structure that is a bit more appropriate to max level.

It doesn’t really have to go that far. All it takes is content scaling (which already exists to some degree) and appropriate rewards. They don’t have to use old gear (just the content, not the loot)… for the gear, they can just expand their existing loot tables for the current expansion.

That said, Blizzard is capable of screwing up something this simple, so I understand your concern.

Yea I too cancel my sub.

I'll be back if life permits..

for me it was the login after months of being away and see noting in return for keeping subscription active…

And then with the little time to spare have to deal with so many changes such as grinding , leveling, Hunter not being accepted into Mythics and list goes on and on…
Yea done deal for me…
