Can we work on ensuring we’re playing our class to it’s full potential before making broad statements about how unplayable the class is in current content? I’ve just discussed with several hundreds of Warlocks that have confirmed that the class is very well balanced. Affliction, Destruction, and Demonology all have a place in keys over 20 (although I’m aware you’re unfamiliar with those…). Warlock brings insane damage, crazy tankiness, unrivaled healthstones, and some sick warlock gates depending on the dungeon. They also bring a dispel that is crucial in some dungeons (Temple of the Jade Serpent) and an AoE stun. They have an ON DEMAND portal to change location, and a toggle movespeed increase. Perhaps, if you spent more time practicing the spec rather than purchasing mid-tier content carries, you’d enjoy the game more. :mtip:
The problem in M+ isn’t going to be solved with a 3% buff to Corruption, or 2% more RoF damage. There’s a fundamental incompatibily with core class-spec design and M+ hard movement requirements.
So you’re arguing that you know more than the logs are showing? Present some data and we can talk. I’m not up for an anecdote war, however.
It’s entirely feasible that I simply can’t find my groove with Demo. My main gripe is that I feel little motivation to really master it (I’ve spent ~4 hours on dummies / sims trying to find a good groove) when their output simply isn’t there. It’s demoralizing starting with Affliction and realizing it simply isn’t up to snuff, then bouncing to other specs and finally realizing that logs essentially showcase the same struggle I’m experiencing.
I’m sure there are incredibly dedicated people who have mastered Warlocks. It doesn’t necessarily change my opinion, however. If the rotation is so unforgiving, and the content is so insistent on movement, I’m not super interested in playing a class that has lower output and a higher barrier for entry. If the complexity came with the prospect of topping charts, I might be more inclined to push harder. Even then, I’m not necessarily concerned with topping charts, I moreso want to be relevant.
Check which spec is the most brought to Mythic raid. Then check which spec is fourth most brought to mythic + above a 20. Check your data before embarrassing yourself on the Internet!
Already been discussed. Scroll up.
I get that English is super hard, but no one is forcing you to be here. Read and partake, or don’t. Making statements that have already been made (and disproven time and time again) as though you’re bringing something new to the table only shows your lack of ability to read.
You can discuss it all you want, but a wrong opinion is wrong! The prior discussion just once again proves you’re in denial about your class being viable because it’s easier to complain than to improve. Also, you’re really not entitled to much of a valued opinion when your only experience in the game is purchasing carries. However, if you’d like, I’m more than happy to sell you additional carries! We’ll even bring out warlock so you can see what a real warlock looks like.
Spot on! The most leveraged DPS in M20+ is MM Hunter. Nice try though! I’m glad we can both agree that a wrong opinion is wrong
If you need help clicking through Raider, I’d be happy to sell a lesson. I’ll even show you how someone with an actual brain can compare 20.7%
to 20.0%
for a little extra.
Your reading comprehension is lower than a second grader.
“Then check which spec is fourth most brought to mythic + above a 20. Check your data before embarrassing yourself on the Internet! ”
You should consider deleting all of this. You’re an embarrassment.
Speaking of chart comprehension, the most leveraged DPS in M20+ is Outlaw rogue. 10.9% is larger than 9.5%

Demo feels pretty weak on target dummies, but it does feel better in raids with lust and if you are a PI target. We have 4 priests so it just works out that i get one. I wish that PI wasn’t a thing though, tbh as it skews a specs performance as any targeted external would.
You said ABOVE 20. Lol, idiot. Thanks for playing
Your brain functions, correct?
That’s not above 20. That’s 20 and above. English is so hard
Your brain functions, correct?
Let’s read over what I said, then use the graph for reference.
“Then check which spec is fourth (4) most brought to mythic + above a 20 (twenty)”
If you open the link above, you can notice Outlaw Rogue at 10.9%, Havoc DH at 10.5%, MM Hunter at 9.5%, then Demo Warlock at 9.2%. There are three specs above Demo, therefore, Demo would be the FOURTH (4) most brought DPS spec to mythic + above a 20 (twenty). Understand?
Yep, ABOVE a 20. That’s 21+.
The link above is 20+. Not ABOVE 20.
Understand?
Boy English sure is difficult. 20+ vs above 20. Inclusive vs exclusive. I can smell the burning while you try to process this.
Frankly I’m done with this. You’re attempting to argue semantics when the data is clear that Demo Lock is the most desired Mythic raid spec and the most desired caster in 20+ M+. It’s clear you’re a redacted clown that has to purchase carries to feel accomplished in a video game where you can’t figure out a rotation that I learned in ten minutes in over four hours, and use those four hours of hitting a target dummy as your metric for how a class performs. Just kindly redacted off.
So what are everyone’s thoughts on the tier look? I hate it personally. It looks like a walking tuning fork.
Incorrect. It’s not semantics, idiot. It’s literally the criteria that impacts the reporting. How can you possibly not understand that the data is impacted by the criteria?
Let me put this into easier terms for you. If you need a chart drawn with crayons, I can set something up for you.
If you say, “People over 20 can legally drink beer in the US”, that is a correct statement. The criteria (people over 20 / ability to drink beer) define the results. Now, if you say “People 20 and over can legally drink beer in the US” that is an incorrect statement. You’ve included 20 year olds in the criteria, which means the result changes with the criteria.
He’s streaming right now if you feel like learning how to play your class instead of just complaining about problems that don’t exist. I think he does coaching too which is probably a better gold investment than your boost purchases.
Oh look! An entire guild with nothing better to do than troll! How cute. If I wanted to apply to your cute little guild, would I have to post 15 obnoxious troll posts per day minimum? How do you verify? Do you guys just rage if you don’t see your comrades trolling on the forums or is there a scraper that verifies troll posts?
