I think it’s because of the overly simplistic idea that people think they’re being Oppressive, but I don’t see this post that way. Got to make things overly binary (right/wrong) these days without taking into consideration all of the grey in life.

No-one cares in the positive I mean. Leaving it out of games clearly does have value. Adding it in is practically always a net negative.
