Hi, I am a returning character. My characters are unable to access their guild banks which I know were there before I left. I checked both permissions and did the UI reset that was recommended on previous threads. Neither worked. Please someone help me.
The character you posted on doesn’t seem to be in a guild. If you are certain you were in a guild when you left, quite possibly during your absence the guild leader was dethroned and whoever took over removed everyone or disbanded the guild.

This isn’t the character that is having the problem. TBH I have no idea why it picked this character to go with the message; it is not my highest level character. I am the guild leader of the three guilds that I am talking about and I tried accessing the guild bank with my guild leader characters. It didn’t work and I got a message reading that I didn’t have permission.
Do you have an authenticator attached to the account?

I don’t, I didn’t need one because I remembered my password. Do you work with Blizzard? I’m just asking because I at one time had to authenticate my account and can thus prove I am the original player of this account.
Did you just recently resub - like within the last 24 hours? The easy answer here is that the system is just taking some time to catch up or waiting on the payment to clear through fully.
Unless the text is blue, we’re your fellow players. Customer Support is a forum for players to help assist other players. You’re not guaranteed a post from one of our SFA Blues, but you’ll find that us folks who hang out here have seen quite a bit and are quite knowledagble.

Yeah, I resubbed like two hours ago. Payment went through on my end but I will just be patient then.
I kind of assumed you were players but it has been awhile. I appreciate both of your help. it probably is at time thing so I will just be patient.

There was someone else recently who had the same issue and that’s what it was, just needing some time to get things all updated and whatnot. I don’t recall how long it took (I’ll see if I can’t dig up the thread), but it was just a matter of waiting for it to all catch up.
Also, you really should get an authenticator. It’s not so much remembering your password, but it’s a smart safeguard for your account.

I will look into the authenticator. That sounds like a new thing.
It’s been around for many years, actually. It was a key fob but now it’s just an app. You can read about it here:

I too suspect it may be the “starter account” restrictions that are blocking access to the guild bank. They should be lifted within 24 hours of the subscription being reactivated. Please let us know if the issue persist beyond that!

I have access to the banks now so if anybody is having this trouble in the future, just be patient.

I have a lvl 5 (warrior named Veras) character who is an officer in my personal guild, but for some reason I am not able to access the guild bank at all. The owner actually can’t figure out why since she provided me all the access that an officer can have.
So why is this character being restricted? I cannot find any reason for this.
You are not the owner of your personal guild?

My alt is an officer of another personal guild. We are stocking materials for The Old Timers Guild to help new members and returning members, plus alt characters of current members with crafting materials.
I should have been more clear. Veras is my alt who is a member of another personal guild, not the one Agnass belongs to. We are limited with space currently so another officer and I build alts to populate that other alt guild.
you should be able to see what actual rank the toon is (someone can have officer rank tho and have zero gbank access) When you open the gbank, what does it tell you you have access to? Can you see the tab contents? Withdraw gold/use repairs? Can you deposit just not withdraw or move stuff or not see the tab contents at all? Its likely part of the settings the GM set up for the permissions for each rank
Can’t view anything there. I’ve sent a message to my friend about it so I’ll need to wait until tomorrow to see what she finds.
In the meantime, I’ll level that toon past 10 just in case its a lvl thing. Weirder things have happened in this game so I’ll just have to wait and see.

mmm if you cant view whats in each tab or tabs are greyed out, then she needs to fix your gbank permissions.
Quick fix when they log in it will be under the gm options =)
