Hello, i made this new account just so i can ask for help, my main account was banned and i need help to get it back if anyone could help me at all my whole battlenet account is banned completely its very strange
I’ve been playing wow for a little over 2 1/2 months now and everything has been great, I’ve really been enjoying the game other than a few instances of being bullied for low DPS. I was running some M+ keys like normal on the night of Nov 30th and i think there was an update to the terms of use agreement on Dec 1st or something and when i tried to log in that morning it said my account was permanently banned and i couldn’t even log in. No warning, no reason, no strike or explanation just banned. I don’t know if my account was hacked or compromised, or if it was a glitch in the system
It said I was in violation of end user license agreement, but i have done nothing wrong. This is a mistake.
I just raid and M+ with my wife and use curseforge addons like details and raider io. i would really appreciate if a real person could take a look at my situation.
i’m very saddened because i bought the whole game and paid for game time and really enjoyed it and now i bought the whole game and new expansion all over again with game time just to be able to look for help.
Please someone help me get my account back. i can provide any information and cooperate however necessary to help the process.
Nothing can be done through the forums - you can only appeal through tickets.
I will add though, that you are allowed to appeal and appeal again until you’re warned that no more will be received.

Put in a apeal thats all you can do ablue mite shed some light in the morning.

I applied for and appeal explaining how this is a mistake and i dont cheat, or bot or any weird stuff like that thats illegal and all i got was an automated looking response and a dead link that leads to an error page, its so messed up

i’ve seen players actually commiting offenses and saying foul things without getting a warning, and ive done nothing and the day there is an update to user license i get banned super wierd and frustrating!
Sadly the appeal process doesn’t exist for you to explain your side of the story. Its only for the appeal team to look at the facts of the case and see if any mistakes were made.
It looks as though you can continue to appeal through the appeal section. And you can keep doing that until they basically will tell you that any further contact about this matter will be considered harassment.
So put in a new appeal and hope for the best.

I submit an appeal but no one even looked at it or considered my situation,
its like a just got an automated reply saying “you don’t matter too bad”.
i don’t understand how you can pay so much money to enjoy a game and you can be banned for literally nothing without even a strike or warning and lose everything you worked so hard to get and not be treated like a real person its so upsetting
It is not. The appeal process is to review a policy violation for possible errors, and to either uphold turn over the applied penalty. There is no need for a GM reviewing the violation to get a side view on the incident. They have the logs in game to review.

They did look at it, they do use a form letter in their responses to help keep the information provided consistent for all of their customers. I can understand the frustration of not knowing exactly what was done to cause the the reason for the suspension/ban.
However it’s been their policy to remain as vague as possible about that. It helps to keep people from saying “Bob said this and didn’t get a action and I only said that. So obviously I shouldn’t have action against my account”
As to you not receiving any earlier warning before this action. All I could do is guess and my guesses aren’t worth anything. However just for the sake of guessing and I’m not accusing you of anything. But just giving some of my basic guesses.

Blizzard made a mistake and a ln appeal will fix the issue. GMs are human and mistakes can happen

You did get warnings from events that happened before and just didn’t acknowledge them or understand them for what they were…or even ignored them.

What happened was so bad it left them no option as to put a suspension/ban against your account. This doesn’t happen normally but it has been known to happen from time to time. Blizzard would rather educate you and let you learn from mistakes than to potentially lose you as a customer.

Yep, Thats what I was saying… Or Were you just elaborating? 
it would be different if i was obviously intentionally committing some kind of offenses but i dont think i ever even so much as spoke out of term to anyone other than a player who was bullying me harshly in a key once and i apologized to everyone in the group after the fact just for defending myself.
That could possibly be it 2 wrongs dont make a right im not justifying what they said but retaliation can be even worse on ur end.
That’s what the report and ignore features are for. Never reply to someone who is doing something against you, even if you’re defending yourself.
In essence, the report and ignore are your defenses.

Technically speaking blizzard can close any account at anytime with little to no reason if they really wanted to however they don’t do that.
Which is why there is an appeals process and from the initial response it seems as though they have significant evidence to uphold the punishment and will no longer accept any more appeals.

i didnt even consider reporting the other player in that case as rude as he was idk i didnt think it was right report him and effect his privaledge to play because he was frustrated at me for not being as good as he wanted
TBH at most hed get a squelch till a GM takes a look and sometimes players need a wake up call we all agreen to be nice to each other whne we sign up to play wow.

even if that was the case if you look at the whole picture you can see who the real antagonizer was, but your right. two wrongs definately dont make a right.

Blizzard doesn’t do that. They only look at if someone broke the rules or not. If they did, even if they were not the instigator, they will still get an account action.
The forums really aren’t the place to discuss account actions in detail. While a Support Forum Agent (Blue Poster) may chime in, it’s not guaranteed. If you really reached the point where they will not accept any further appeals, that’s it I’m afraid.

the issue i have is im seeing a big wave of people, even streamers, getting banned for weird reasons or no reasons or pranks and im not a perpetual offender or anything. i just wish someone could look at this and take that into consideration because it doesnt even say it was conduct, it talks about a license agreement but i just play off my laptop at home or in brazil once in a while if i visit family its very strange it feels like a mistake.
i dont know if i was hacked or it thinks i was a bot or something because i just like to hang out and stay logged in sometimes while im on youtube or looking for keys
Have you been involved in any GDKP runs lately? People have been getting banned in these when stolen/bought gold is being used for payment. Or do you use any keyboard/mouse software that can be used to do things like add delays or repeats to macros?
All we can do here is speculate which is kinda pointless.
