I’m not, and maybe if i was raising a fuss about it or overreacting there’d be something to be embarrassed about; but all i’ve done is ask and hope for a blue response on the issue.

Whether i get it or not, oh well. It may not even be the answer i hope for, it isn’t a deal breaker at all or a big deal. Just something i am curious about. It isn’t like having a pet is going to make or break classic, or automatically give me invites to content ya know?.

Well to each his own. If I felt as you do about an extremely rare pet, I would be embarrassed. It is a set of colored pixels that do nothing to augment the game.

Why is that the criteria and not simply that you enjoy it?

Well we did get a blue in another thread about this, it seems that the plan is not have any connection between the two games, so even if an account is ‘flagged’ with a CE code they would simply disable it.

Stewing is hardly the description i’d use lol. I let it go for several hours, but my chrome is giving me alerts and when i have time between quests i responded. Not to all.

It’s been courteous up in here. It’s just a pet though, and won’t really affect classic at all so it doesn’t really matter much whether it was a y/n. /shrug. Have a good one

Regardless, this thread has been courteous and i just felt it was worth asking. Still is.

Would hope for a blue response/answer, but it isn’t a big deal regardless. Just a pet after all.

I don’t care about being assessed based on my pets. I would just like to have my amusing murloc friend (and panda/diablo/zergling) who gave me much enjoyment just from being by my side. I’m sure there are people who want the CE pets and Murky so they can fish (heh) for compliments on being OG, but that ain’t why I would like to have them in Classic.

People get so bent out of shape. I prefer vanilla ice cream, and nobody needs to get upset about it, and if you offer me chocolate ice cream, I will still eat that. I probably won’t say I would have preferred vanilla while eating it, of course. :smiley:

Yeah, especially since the asked question was about shared rewards across classic/live (like earning a mount in live and it being on your account in classic, i don’t want that either)

I have yet to see or read about anything regarding the CE pets and early blizzcon pets like Murky 05. There’s no reason they couldn’t be added for those who have them as it is 100% harmless and doesn’t negatively affect anyone else in game.

I’m not trying to cheese my way to a strat mount or anything like that; just asking if a vanilla pet would be available in classic (a re-creation of vanilla), and if not, why not? It won’t be a true vanilla experience without the vanilla pets.

Bottom line is: we are playing classic and you got that pet in vanilla.

here’s the rub though… is classic = vanilla? If not, cool not a big deal. but if it’s meant to replicate vanilla down to the core… the CE pets and murky should be allowed by those accounts.

They already exist in the game code, and are already tied to those accounts. So why not?
