I’ll respond with your words:
I find all these arguments pretty funny from the Anti-RDF, when they haven’t got a leg to stand on, they go to, “then your opinion doesn’t matter.” Gosh, they troll so much, then they complain about being called trolls.
Since you have devolved to saying the same thing on repeat, i shall entertain you and sink to your level as well.
Just another Anti-RDF clown. Report and move on.
Seems obvious. Blizzard heard you. Ignored you. Released a better game.
What you find funny is simple.
I welcome the visibility. Anything that gets Blizzard to see we appreciate what they’ve released is a good thing.
Here we go again.
Actually, I’m paying for World of Warcraft. It includes Classic in the subscription.
In TBC they merged 20+ servers due to the decline in the population. In one of the blue posts about opening fresh realms, Blizzard said they wanted to only open a few because they believe players will leave.
They anticipate the drop off of people.
Why do you think they closed 20+ servers in TBC, sorry…merged? Classic has/is/and will face (according to Blizzard) a drop off of players.
I’m just guessing here, but I imagine it wasn’t financially viable to keep those servers open when they didn’t need to.
Ruin the game? If the game was so great, why in the world did they merge 20+ servers?
Please, stop this nonsense that RDF is going to ruin the game. You know what ruins the game? Server merges. That’s clearly a sign of a healthy game.
It’d be great if we didn’t need RDF, but I was playing on my low level hunter today, signed up for deadmines and after two hours, I saw a total of three people in the LFG. I’m on Skyfury, one of the newer servers.
It’s insane that you cannot do the first dungeon for a faction due to lack of lower level players.
If a newer player started WotLK, joined Skyfury, leveled to sixteen or seventeen, got some dungeon quests and then failed to find a dungeon group. What do you believe their thoughts would be?
I’d guess something along the lines of “Oh I cannot find a group for this, must be a dead game.”
Not finding groups causes players to leave. Why in the world would I quest for 70+ levels when I’m in an MMORPG? If I wanted to do solo quests, I’d be playing Skyrim or Dragon Age.
There is a problem with lower level content right now. There’s going to be a problem when folks start raid logging. It’s not going to go away.
Having lower level players and newer players be locked out of group content due to lack of population isn’t a good look for any game.
Yet
Difference between the present and the future.
Should I go back through this thread and note how condescending you’ve been the entire time? But it’s a problem when that same energy is thrown back at you.
I have no idea who retail is for. Haven’t played it since WoD. Classic is closer to what I prefer, and I’ll continue to advocate for it being that.
They did this with RDF as well. Tanks charged for instant queues while DPS waited 45 mins+ for a dungeon to pop.
Cringe cannot exist in a vacuum. It must be observed.
The more I see the Anti-RDF people act out aggressively the more I debate charging to tank/heal dungeons until RDF is added lol. Make a quick buck for the low price of being a jerk, sounds par for classic I suppose.
The reason doesn’t matter. The outcome is what matters. Blizzard is getting $$$. No need to change their decisions.
Of course they do. The very people who want RDF are the ones who rapid grind and then leave. Blizzard catering to that crowd is bad for business and bad for the game. By their actions, they know this, and they didn’t include RDF.
This is obvious. I would expect a HUGE decline when dragonflight launches since it has all the carebear convenience features people are trying to ruin classic with.
The cost of electricity to run a realm is likely not what makes their choices. I’m guessing it’s server populations.
We’re talking about wrath. You’re talking about random things.
No. It is not nonsense. I don’t want it. It’s bad for the game.
We don’t. Never did.
No it isn’t. RDF doesn’t invent players to do content that isn’t relevant at the moment.
It’s not a “problem”. It’s how the game works. It’s how it always worked.
Hyperbolic nonsense. There is no such lockout. Just people who don’t want to make different choices. RDF isn’t a solution.
Woah calm down there mister wall of text.
Of course you can. I’m definitely honest when I share an observation about someone’s behavior. As soon as they get personal, I point out how petty they are.
Conversely, you invent random accusations about broad groups of people. It’s not targeted to a real person. You’re randomly condescending. You’re exactly why I point out how petty you are.
I’m totally okay with that! As long as they keep ignoring you and keep it the same, we’re good.
Yup.
HERE I GO AGAIN ON MY OWN
You know it’s funny I signed up for the tank role and still got declined by various groups. And there are people who are lazy and click all dungeons and found out the group is not running the particular dungeon they want and they left. This LFG tool is horrendous
If Blizzard wanted money, they should add the WoW token. You’re allowed 20 tokens per week in shadowlands. That’s around $400 per week or $1600 per month.
I think Blizzard wants folks in dragonflight, more ways for customers to spend money to increase their quarterly earnings. Classic only has a few repeat purchases? Faction/name changes? Then the one time account upgrade.
So, you can toss around terms like “carebears”, but when I say “sweaty nerds” I’m the bad guy? You’re not only condescending, you’re also hypocritical.
It’s been that way for over two years. By and large the ‘Classic’ community openly embraced server transfers into their culture and with it the erasure of realm identity.
As i recall when my friend tried to play a rogue in vanilla, he could not get into any dungeon group as rogues weren’t good for leveling dungeons and that was his experience up until 60, where then he wasn’t allowed in any groups because his BiS gear was also warrior BiS gear. Good times. I mean uh, classic has never been toxic or sweaty what are you talking about :o
