I’m all for rdf and I’m a healer that has no issue finding a group even at 3am. Like literally seconds and I have multiple invites.
Anyone against it is insane or just doesn’t care about the health of the game since they have no problem finding groups.
Even with RDF (do you mean cross-server RDF? We’re throwing aside all community aspects right?) there would still be long queue times to find tanks. Maybe not as long for sure but still not instant especially when less people are on. If you’re on a mega-server and you can’t find a tank, RDF ultimately wouldn’t solve this
The dps took it away from me, if you want to pull the next 2 rooms while were still clearing this one and the healer is under 20% mana then you all can tank it. Dont care how long you waited in line, troll somebody elses group or go tank your own. Waterheads.

So sit in rdf que and get quests done to wait for it to pop or sit and spam in lfg and stare at the lfg tool for 45 mins hmm i wonder which is better? And to that depending on the time you play might not even be anything for the dungeon(s) you need.
Im assuming he is including cross realm in mind which technically it would add tanks in the pool.
On grobbulous this is precisely the problem, plenty of tanks, not enough healers.
You can access LFG From anywhere, there’s no reason not to quest and recruit at the same time?
Lack of healers is the real issue. Dual spec should be free at this point to encourage more healers.
I never understood why they can’t implement the easiest solution possible:
Give insane amounts of gold as rewards for tanking and healing. Everyone likes gold. Make it the best way to get gold in the game and everyone will be doing it.

I coming from asia tz play on west coast servers see their slow times during the week. My night, their early morning.
even grobb was slow my time when there. US heavy server so the players I see are the night owls during the week. For many games this is the minority of the player base.
Maybe some asia OCE peeps who didn’t run on OCE servers like me.
now when I log in 1100 saturday and sunday morning (I get weekends off from work, weekdays I am at work)…its night and day. Its now US west coast’s prime time at around 2000. People all over. ergo way more group chances.

I did the majority of mine with a guild however when I pugged I didnt see stupid wait times. 15-20mins max!

Reputation already doesnt matter on megaservers. Layers, and an insane population, made it so you basically get lost in a sea of faces, no matter how toxic you are, there will be thousands of people to group with
It actually does increase the number of tanks willing to run dungeons. A lot of people who are unwilling to tank would now be willing because it becomes a much less stress-inducing situation. Tanking RDF feels like less responsibility for whatever reason therefore more people attempt to do so.
But regardless, even if it didn’t “conjure” any new tanks that’s fine. What it does do is creates a guaranteed eventual group.
The current system is like going to a bar that’s super busy. In order to get served, you need the bartender to notice you. The attractive women have an advantage you see, these are the players with gear. They’ll get the bartenders attention first. Even if the bartender doesn’t care about attractive women, it’s still completely random and based solely on bartender choice. A person could be standing there waiting quite a long time as opposed to someone who happens to get the bartenders attention immediately after walking up.
This real life scenario actually infuriates a lot of people daily. It’s frustrating to say the least. The system would be much more fair and less frustrating if it were first come first serve. Not only that, but rather than spend all your attention trying to gain the bartender’s attention, you could then use that time to focus on other things such as talking to the pretty women also waiting their turn.
You should roll pally instead as almost any loot is pally loot. “Rolling need for offspec” = a heck of a lot more shards

my warrior tank is now 20 and it takes forever to build groups
