Multiple groups abandoned due to no tanks. LFG is not working

so, by that logic how would RDF be any better? If the lack of tanks and healers because they no longer need to do them is the cause for problems, how does that get solved in any meaningful way by RDF? You still have a lack of tanks and healers.

If for example, you have a given server that has a Tank and healer, to DPS ratio of say 1:15 (I know this is not the actual ratio im just making something up) and another has say, 1:20, and we put in RDF, you still only have a ratio 3.5:30 healer and tank to DPS ratio. Its not much better.

I think that blizzards intent was to not allow us (Sweaty try-hards excluded) to gear up too quickly. In that regard, no RDF has been a complete success.

You have just as many shots at getting the gear as a sweaty player.

If you have 2 tanks, each doing CoS for the shield, they only get 1 shot a day to get it. Your attempts per day to get gear are limited. You just have people who wanted to get it sooner and get more attempts in then others.

If someone is willing to put more effort in, ot get something, thats not their fault or catering to them, thats just them putting in more effort to get it. If you are not willing or wanting to put in that effort to get a few more days shot at it, thats not really their fault is it?

I haven’t had a problem. Sounds like a you problem

actually out of curiosity, what do you classify a sweaty player as?

I mean, yeah? I fully admit I don’t have the time like I used to, or the time as the sweat beasts. Most of my time is spent pressing /4 LFT and gtg. It’s a pure waste of time when I could be out there playing.

Anyone who’s in full purples as of today.

And thats totally understandable, but. At the same time, you are also playing a game that is desinged to be played as classic, and take up a lot of time. So you are kinda walking into a game whos intent is to be like it was before.

So if someone who was just really lucky with their drops, only did like 2 world tours would you consider that person sweaty?

In 7 1/2 days of total time in wrath, with some of that dedicated to leveling? Absolutely.

The only QoL that isn’t in the game right now is the one that would save the most time to the most people. It has nothing to do with what we want, or what’s right and wrong. They simply don’t want players to level quickly, or gear up too fast.

So let’s not kid ourselves as to why RDF isn’t in the game.

So ok let me ask it this way.
If in those 7 1/2 days, you have 2 tanks.
One tank gets his shield and sword from heroic for Pre Raid BiS in the first 2 days and stops running heroics.

The other tanks has to run them every single day for the 7 days out there and still has not gotten it.

Who is the sweatier player? The one who got it in 1 go, or the one who still has not gotten it?

Because by how you classify them, just because the warrior who get their drops first through luck and is playing way less, that one is sweaty, but the guy who is grind out heroics every single day to get what he needs is not because he does not have it yet?

My point is, someone being sweaty by gear is not a very good way to gauges it.

The problem with waht you are saying is, it does not make a lot of sense because once you hit 80, its SUPER easy to gear up in pre raid BiS because a lot of Pre raid BiS is just random drops.

Also your logic of “If they are in all purple they are sweaty” does not make any sense either considering the purples and blues from Heroics right now are all the same ilvl. A blue from a heroic is ilvl 200, a pruple from heroic is ilvl 200.

Feels great. Clinging to desperation hoping they’ll change what they’ve said they won’t do over-and-over is the opposite. I like my position better.

Won’t bother me if they add it once the expansion is over. I won’t be here anyway.

The odds of anyone ending up in full purples “because random luck” in one week are beyond slim. If you’re decked out in preraid BIS or a full set of purples after one week… Sorry, you’re ultra sweaty.

Don’t make excuses. Go with it, you obviously put in many, many, many sweat filled hours. Be proud.

But thats my point, BiS is not just all purples, heroic blues and heroic purples are the same ilvl.

You can get like half your BiS gear by just doing all the quests in SP and ICC.
Like if you do a single would tour thats 44 hero badges + all the badges from ICC and SP from JUST doing quests, you can easy buy your naxx 10 gloves, chest, and necklace from the vendor, so i can get 3 purple BiS from just doing quests and between now and what 5 days ago when i hit 80, do some heroic and bam, i get a 2 set bonus and a purple necklace.

Thats not a lot of effort into the game.

That’s not how it works. You are slightly increasing the tank pool while massively increasing the DPS pool. So nothing will change other than it being automated.

We have plenty.

Or maybe you just invent some guidelines as if we have to follow them. Maybe we don’t care about this fake restriction you add like “nochanges” or “somechanges”. You’re not important enough to dictate the rules.

It won’t be added so we’ll never find out.

We care about the awesome game they released. We are committed to playing it.

Dont’ confuse not caring about you with not being committed. We’re all LOVING the game and very committed to it. It’s great! All the things they’ve added are awesome. Leaving toxic RDF out was a great choice!

You’re making things up. I don’t care about your fantasy rules. I’m not required to be in some made-up cult that cares about what changes they add. The game, as released, is excellent. How it got here doesn’t matter. No matter how much you say it, it doesn’t change the reality for those of us loving it.

You made up the no changes nonsense. I love their changes. They’re making all the right ones and none of the wrong ones.

On my server there is absolutely zero heal and as a Tank people tell me to “Go heal” to find groups for dungeons and yeah no I won’t go heal, give me RDF and I’ll click on a button and get a dungeons pop for me instanly.

Come on, pro RDF people wouldn’t just go on the internet and lie to support their position. That isn’t something they’d do!

Go with it. It’s ok to be geared. It’s ok to be good at getting it. It’s ok to be sweaty. Just be prepared with the catcalls from the peanut gallery.

I spent my first 60 levels as a druid healer and it would take me sometimes up to 6 hours just to find a group. Leveling as a healer druid solo SUCKS really bad, so i switched to DPS and its so much better playing, heck I even got in a few groups to boot.

Would you say, if some has done 23 heroic dungeons since launch is that sweaty? thats like 2 heroics a day since launch.
