Multiboxing seems like an unfair advantage

Also known as key mirroring. And they’ve never allowed that. But people do it anyway and pretend that it’s fine on the forums. But a cheater is just a cheater.

No you cannot control two characters at the same time without hardware to key mirror. Which is against the terms of service. Otherwise you would need four arms and four hands.

To do that effectively you must use software to automate inhumanly fast keep presses. Otherwise it’s taking you 20 to 30 seconds to just cast one spell.

And that’s not what’s happening. Let’s not pretend.

The GCD is pretty long my guy! You can pretty easily run WoW on a laptop or second computer then use a second keyboard+some foot pedals to handle basically any situation.

A foot pedal isn’t going to turn your character around at the same time or target things. Stop lying. Nobody is doing this. It’s all key mirroring.

Pretty simple macro my guy! /follow charactera /assist CharacterA
All positioning and turning is handled by characterA.
edited because I used wrong macro! lol

Any macro that is moving or positioning your character is an illegal macro.

okay you’re trolling or super duper ignorant. You think using /follow, a command built into the client, is cheating? fml that’s so silly

/follow doesn’t work anymore

Okay that’s some low quality trolling

So is implying that people who multibox are not using programs to automate/mirror. Hint: they 100% are not using foot pedals.

/f isn’t going to turn you around or target what your main is targeting. We all know it’s key mirroring. And all multiboxers doing this should be reported and justly banned. It’s just another form of pay to win cheating.

What’s so hard to believe about people using pedals? Hell one of the worst players on the game, Swifty, was doing it. if that old man can handle something so simple I don’t see how actual gamers would have issues with it.

IF you actually believe this then you’re insanely ignorant. I did a lot of multiboxing before blizzard decided they hate fun, and even some afterwards. If you just mirror all your keystrokes to every client you’re going to have an extremely bad time so this comment from you just shows you have 0 clue what you’re talking about. Maybe you should go sit down somewhere else while adults talk LOL

But that’s literally what it is. Doesn’t matter if you use hardware to do it, which is what you’re probably trying to get around this with. Multiboxers cannot do what they do in the game without key mirroring. You’re not running around with 4 characters targeting and attacking the same target without automation and mirroring. Hardware mirroring is also mirroring.

This isn’t an issue of hating fun. It’s an issue of not allowing cheating. Sure, exploiters find exploiting fun. Oh well for you.

I thought I already told you to go away kiddo

I accept your concession. Now stop cheating and grow up

I don’t think I conceded anything to you since this entire topic is just you being ignorant on a subject and me growing tired of it. Unless you want to feel like a winner because I’ve run out of energy to talk to someone that doesn’t learn? If so congrats you win!

Yeah that’s the point -.-

I LOVE my pedals! PTT and macros on the floor is so nice.

It’s actually quite easy with how “slow” wow is to do 3. Triple monitor set up, just swing the mouse between screens, and good to go. Warrior, holy priest/druid, hunter. Warrior builds threat, healer rolls hots and drops a bomb when needed, hunter and pet mostly auto. It’s nowhere near as efficient as 3 actual players, but it’s not difficult at all.

Not sure what you mean. My example was for 40 mages.
Each time you press the key for frost bolt it auto focuses on the next window.
Don’t know about 30 seconds.

Realistically 5 boxing 5 mages would probably take 2-4 seconds for each to have frost bolt started casting. You of course need to press the key 5x. Not hard at all
